I see a guy with a raptor left the black backing on and trimmed it up to fit, but a Super duty guy took it off to mount. Hopefully it works out good this way, a bit lighter to mount anyway.
Got the appliqué prepped on the weekend. Once I get my truck back this week I’ll get it mounted.
Getting the black piece separated from the appliqué was not fun, used a hair dryer to heat the plastic, helped a bit separating the two sided tape. Then removing the remaining tape was tedious and...
There’s a guy on YouTube that added one to his F250, shows how he broke the tabs ect to remove the plastic back piece. I’m sure it’s the same for the F150. Just got a 24 KR, looking at doing the same.
Mine is in Saskatoon as of Friday, hoping it was getting on a transport truck today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed I get it this week.
It took 10 days to get from Dearborn to Stoon, pretty happy with that.
Anyone figure out how to track our trucks via the trains? Mine says it’s on CN. Looking at local dealers trucks it takes anywhere from 11-16 days to get from Dearborn to SK.
