FDRS is not showing anything. Something is definitely off here. I need to see the serial number and ESN you blocked off to compare it what Ford has on their side, and to provide it to the person that will be able to help. Getting an APIM out of the old broken software is very difficult (and mostly impossible) to do for people with expert level knowledge on these things. Message me the pic if you want to keep it private.

@rugedraw Good morning, I have a 21 Powerboost I purchased a few months ago. I have not received any OTAs and the selector for automatic updates is frozen. My sync 4 isn't even showing what revision I have. Any chance you can look up my VIN?

I just got the truck back from dealership. APIM was replaced. Auto updates in no longer grayed out and I have a software version / reversion number now available. Version number : 21146
Reversion : 145
Another member recommended to have rugedraw look up vin and make sure everything looked ok. 1FTFW1ED9MFB06427

Can you check Vin 1FTFW1ED0PFA72687. No OTAs, to the best of my knowledge, since bought in Nov 2023. However, I have updated via FDRS in the mean time.

Keep in mind that FDRS supersedes the OTA process. If you're updating with FDRS, there is little to nothing to be sent to you via OTA.

With that said, you have GWM update 24-PU0227-VI-RBS sitting in your queue since yesterday. It seems like you haven't driven the truck in a few days. Go start it and let it run for a few minutes. That should be enough to get it to install.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your truck is in the worst possible state it could be in in terms of software. You are on Sync 20301 which is bad software from 2020 known to break the OTA process. 99% of problems, this forum can help you with and this is the one thing we can't help with.

Good news is, you have warranty until November. The difficult part will be convincing the dealer you have a problem. They would need to manually update your APIM which will most likely fail, and then diagnose it as faulty and replace it with a new one.[/QUOTE]

Everything looks good on the surface. There's just one little detail about how the module was programmed that for some reason is not showing in vehicle history that i am unsure about. Stand by while I get a second set of eyes to check and make sure everything is fine.

Started the truck and let it run in generator mode for 10 minutes... OTA update successful!

I would advise against it, but there is a snowball's chance in hell it will work. @Pr0sacK was in the same situation and he got his APIM out of the broken state, but this is not the typical experience when it comes to this. You can try, but the success rate is VERY low.

No active OTA at this time. OTA history shows you've had a door module update sent to you several times and it failed every time with some hash error; not sure why that's happening.
