Thank you Rugedraw, based on everything I could research online I knew they were straight up lying. Are you able to see any history on the APIM and when it failed? The reason I ask is because I bought the truck on 3/9/24 as a CPO and I'm pretty sure the APIM was bad when they sold it to me. When I dropped it off last week I got the "it's been over 30 days" line from the service advisor, but I'm pretty sure the APIM was bad when it was sold to me, they may not have known which I don't fault them for but I want them to make it right.

Just wondering if the modem is offline because I haven't gone and picked the truck back up yet so I haven't gone back through the authorization, they must have done a master reset. Truck is still there because they need to also find a water leak. With what they did, did it erase all history prior to 4/18? Another question, is it possible that something happened to the APIM after I bought on 3/9 that caused it to revert to the bad software version? Thank you for your time with this!

No. The truck has been on Sync 20301 since July of 2021. You cannot erase vehicle history. It's all there.

It failed due to a corrupted manifest. There was something wrong with the files that the server wanted to send your truck and the update was rejected. Nothing you did wrong or could have done differently. You just gotta wait for it to be resent.

Seems like something came through because my gauges and MyView was all messed up again but don't know what's going on because I still just have the 6.1 failed message.

Can you check and see what's new and what's up with 1FTFW1ED3MFC69445 ?

You've had that same update sent to you 6 times in the past 2-3 months and it keeps failing due to a software mismatch. Send me a pic of the entire "about sync" screen of your truck when you can. It looks like something got messed up when the dealer replaced your APIM. This is definitely not normal.

My trucks fully updated in FDRS as of 3/28/24 with no updates available, and I still get phantom updates from time to time. I think its part of life now!

Yeah not having any updates ever is what has me puzzled, I've read your threads and understand how the process works with the updates having to be available. Going back to the issue that started a few days ago, did they recognize files became unavailable on the server or maybe in my case have never been there at all ?

I don't know much about the OTA roll-out schedules for the Expos, but this what FDRS has showing pending. None of these updates are part of the sequence that gets you rolling towards a higher Sync version. It is believed that there is currently issue on Ford's side where certain module updates are not showing on Ford's side for vehicles. I have come across it in F150 and Mach Es. Apparently, it is affecting the Expos too and possibly all vehicles. Not enough is known about the problem now. I would suggest asking for another VIN check in a few weeks to see if something else pops up on the list, but either way, you would need FDRS to force the updates and there is nothing you can do to force an OTA.

Nothing has been sent to you OTA yet. All connectivity seems to be fine and your truck is talking to the cloud fine. No relevant DTC's being reported. The module updates you have pending are below and you're showing a GWM which is good. I have no good explanation as to why no updates, but your truck is fine.

Edit. Wait, you weren't showing a GWM update before. So this is progress.

Not sure about the RGTM, but all the other modules can be updated OTA.

Are there a lot of ota issues with the expos?

It's never gotten an update released to it, I've found a few others online with similar vins and being on the same sync 4a 4.0.22277 and no updates. Sync indicates it's "up to date"
