My dad lives in Florida. I feel for you Florida people on many many levels, not just homeowner insurance.
If you do switch your order to Granger for a 2024, you will not be disappointed with the Granger buying experience. Also if you go to pick up the truck in Iowa Florida people can also get an ESP if that is something you are considering. Good luck with your decision.

You gotta shop around. My last insurance company wanted me to renew at a premium of $11,400.
I got Citizens to insure me for $5900. Then Slide picked me up a year later for $5000. My taxes are $6400 a year. Yea it sucks...

I'm ordering from Granger and had planed to send in the $2,000.00 deposit (2 wheel drive) February 3rd but got hit with a massive increase and had to apply that two grand to avoid financing monthly payments. Now that 2024's are being delivered I'm a little bummed I'm not inline.
But I know it's totally worth it to order and go with Granger especially since the extended warranty is such a fantastic bargain IF I'm actually standing in Iowa lolol!
The biggest difference tho is the fact Granger has low Dealership fees. Out the door with them is at least $2,500.00 less than any "quote" I've found here in Florida and that's ordering at invoice. Add in the fact I'll save at least two grand for a 8 year/100 K zero deductible just on the warranty means I'm going to visit Chip! I'm going to take a brother or granddaughter with me when I go just because I don't think I can manage just the airport by myself plus I look at it as a adventure..My brother wanted to 'stop by' the Buck knife factory in Post Falls Idaho till I told him it was 2,000 miles plus detour.

I ordered my King Ranch in Jan and got scheduled the following week on Jan 18th for a build date beginning this week. It got punted to next week so even with that, I am not looking at seeing my new truck until early to mid-April at the soonest and I was fast to schedule. With that, I would anticipate a 4 month minimum wait on a clean build.
Realistically, I could see anywhere between 6-9 months if you wanted a Lariat or above with the PAT. I'd imagine you'd certainly have it before the end of the year though.

Mine is a XL regular cab short bed 2×2 so relatively simple build. I'm still debating adding the XL High package to get the work surface and LED fog lights as I wanted privacy rear glass anyway. Only other option is black platform running boards. I plan to add Katskin leather seat covers but on the work surface I'm unsure how it differes in hight from one without it. I'm basically making a budget 'Sport Truck' and want to make sure the work surface won't impact the look I'm going for. Finding close up pictures of leather interiors in for the jump seat with and without is difficult.

I ordered a 24 F150 KR February 16 and received Ford confirmation email that day. My dealer said they are not starting production until May? And I just told him to delete the PAT (hope that doesn’t hurt resale value too much).

I would get the high package, it’s worth it for what you get. And if you don’t like chrome bumpers you can always have them wrapped, at least they’re steel rather than the base black plastic bumpers.
As for Katzkin on the work surface console, they can do it no problem. The only different is the top when compared to the regular console. Since the tray is all plastic it won’t get touched, just the lower cushion and backrest portion would get leather.

I ordered my KR in Jan and got scheduled Jan 18. I have a window sticker and a blend date for next week. If you aren't waiting on the tailgate, I would imagine you will get picked up fairly quickly. If you don't already have your build date, you are likely a "99 priority" and waiting on the tailgate or your dealer hasn't submitted. Most KR orders that I have seen have been scheduled unless they waited on the tailgate.

My order is a Retail Priority 11. I just txt the salesman 2 hours ago to delete the PAT. He said he will when he gets to work at noon Mountain Time. I don’t understand when the next scheduling will be for F150 KR?

I'll be sending Granger my deposit at the end of this month and hopefully I'll be in Iowa sometime in July! Getting a new truck is a very big deal to me even 'just' a base XL regular cab. My last new F-150 was in 1995 a XL Super Cab in Desert Copper Clearcoat Metallic a truly fantastic color. This will be the first vehicle I will spend significant money on mods to truly make it mine. If only Shelby would sell those fantastic chrome wheels that came on the Super Snake...
