What kind of MPG mileage are you getting with your Powerboost?

From a trip to the coast yesterday. I neglected to get a pic of the return trip, but iirc, it was 27.6. I wasn't hypermiling or the sort; mostly interstate at 70+ MPH and light traffic <45 MPH on local roads.

The last tank of gas netted 10.8 mpg. Of course I was towing through the VA & WV mountains. It was 8.8 when I crossed the highest point in WV. It slowly improved to 10.8 mpg by the time we reached Huntington, WV.

The fact that I can roll down the Interstate with the cruise control set at 80mph for hours and still get 20mpg has made me stop looking at it like I did 5000 miles ago when I took this pic while actually driving 80 with the cruise set lol. Please don’t do that. Keep your eyes on the road.

Permanent shell, Talon's Garage cat protector. I'm kinda disappointed. I don't drive crazy, do carry equipment here and there. Was definitely hoping to push 23mpg

I have over 11k now and the PB is capable of high twenties with certain conditions met. It loves long drives at 60mph or below with some traffic thrown in to rack up electric miles. Short high speed drives are the worst, so if you hop on a freeway for 10 minutes to work every day reported mileage will suffer.

I just finished a drive from San Diego to Long Beach and averaged 22 mpg driving at freeway speeds. Cruise was set at 77 mph. Not far off the 23 mpg that was on the sticker when I bought it.

I'm about ready to make the return trip and see what I get.

Not true lovable hater-guy. If I were to ever stick to posted speed limits my PB would easily achieve its EPA numbers.

My return trip from Long Beach to SD (95 miles) today was 23 1/2 mpg. There was more traffic on the way back so I had to slow down a few times and the electric motor took over more than on the way up. Cruise was set at 75 mph. Drive it right and the PB can get good gas mileage, even on the freeway.

I have 415 miles on the truck with mixed driving. I have been intentionally driving like a grandma and selecting eco whenever I remember. I am averaging 19.1 on the computer. My 2016 was 15.9 with same driving.

Interesting... my 23 3.5 EB ICE is at 18.6 mpg. Feeling like ICE is still the way to go. I don't drive like grandma though .

With stock size tires, for the first 3,000 miles or so, 18.6 MPG.

With 35’s for a few hundred miles, and the speedometer calibrated, 18.4 MPG.

I take a lot of short trips and have noticed it does a lot better when warmed up, so that probably explains the numbers some. Also winter gas maybe. I’m really hoping for some improvement in the summer.
