I have the PowerBoost and it has the "Auto Hold" feature. Recently, when I would come to a stop light, as I am sitting there, foot on the brake, after a few seconds the truck would lunge forward. The first couple times it happened, I thought someone hit me, but there was no one behind me, or close enough to hit me. This has also happened when letting the truck hold itself without the foot on the brake. I am more cautious, and try not to do the auto hold because I don't know hat this is, and would not want my truck to just take off into the back of the car in front of me. If this has been mentioned, I apologize, but I wasn't able to find it on a search.

I've had this happen. IIRC, It was when the truck switched from electric to ICE when sitting during a longer stop light sequence.

It didn't actually move, but kind of lurched maybe. I'm generally not up someone's ass when stopped so I don't think it would result in contact if it did move an inch or two.

I had this happen a couple of times when stopped at a light. Felt like I was being pushed from behind, able to lock up the brake. BUT, yesterday, as I turned to back in driveway, stopped and got ready to shift to reverse, the damn thing lunged forward into neighbor yard, a little incline, then powered up into a pine tree. Crazy! Sober and shocked , what the hell. it threw a parking assist message on the dash. in body shop. When repaired I’m taking in, still under warranty (12,500 on two years) . Have a strong feeling they will dismiss it as operator error, but I’m telling you I was not in control of the truck.
