That's pretty true for most years right? Job 2 starts around July?

I thought I had a 2022 job 2 for a while, but its 6/22.

To the best of my knowledge, after following this for many years, the changeover seems to occur in July or early August.

The F-150 frames come from a plant in Elizabethtown, Ky., owned by Metalsa S.A. de C.V., a Mexican company that bought Dana Corp.’s structural products business in 2010.
They are shipped via. rail to both KC and Dearborn plants approximately 1 to 3 weeks ahead of production requirements. The part numbers have stayed the same from 2021 to current 2023 production. For all wheelbase versions. Unless the frame was replaced you should have a tag like this that shows the frames production date.

Guess I need to go sticker hunting.

The Ford Performance skid plate kit only fits 21 job 2 and later because they changed the holes in frame. My job 1 has the hole locations from job 2 trucks. So they made the change much earlier in production or I have a job 2 frame. ?‍♂

The sticker is on the passenger side, outer frame rail very clear if you lay next to the truck. There always upside down, because that the way the frames are shipped to the plants, and how they hit the assembly line so there legible to the workers.

No idea what this means, other than 05/04/21 and 145"
Pretty sure I have the lighter frame with the 2.7
Truck built late May 2021 first owner purchased May 31 2021.

Not challenging at all, just looking for education out of curiosity .....

Shortly after taking delivery of my 2022 I paid for a short subscription to the Ford Service website. After entering my VIN I copied a long (349 lines!) mostly cryptic (to me ;)) list of "Detailed Vehicle Specifications - [my VIN]" to an excel spreadsheet.

Among the entries on that list (found under a tab "OASIS" IIRC):
PRODUCTION DATE2022/05/12
and
PLANT OF MANUFACTUREAAGAJKANSAS CITY PLANT BUILD
and on line 60
AD6BN2022 JOB #2 PROGRAM CONTROL

Does that not indicate a 'Job 2' build in the sense being discussed in this thread, and if not, can you explain what "2022 JOB #2 PROGRAM CONTROL" means?

No big deal, just curious, thanks in advance! :)

Lol, during my 72-hour subscription I prowled through every tab and option I could find and downloaded every bit of VIN-specific stuff I could find (boatloads of pages, the PDF attached above is only one), even though much was and still is not fully understood by me  :ROFLMAO:

I've not been back to that site because I bought the complete Service Manual on CDROM through Helm (which of course has no VIN-specific data).

I've actually never noticed this in the build sheets before, It certainly appears as though you have a Job 2, 2022 truck. I just looked and mine and found the same information and I have a 2021 job 1 so the build sheet seems to be accurate. I'll do a little research and try to find out when the 2022 cutoff date was. It would seem that Ford moved to Job2 earlier than usual in 2022

Thanks so much, I didn't mean to send you on a goose chase!

I'm not at all sure what the Job 1 vs 2 differences were in 2022 (and that's even farther off this thread's topic).

Though far from competent to 'decode' Ford's build sheet 'crypto-speak', among the (more than a few) things that confuse me on mine is
HLQAALESS SPEED SIGN RECOGNITION
when in fact I definitely have speed sign recognition with my "Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist 2.0"

Oh well, really doesn't matter, per the attached Monroney I know I got exactly the options I ordered with my truck (I had no factory deletes by some miracle, the auto stop-start delete was my choice) and I absolutely love my truck. :)

I'm not able to find the Job 2 cutoff date for 2022 for either KC or Deaborn. Very strange. But it would appear they knew that an early cutoff would happen as the order guide published in March of 22 was aready discussing the Job 2 changes, with date yet to be determined.
