Why does Ford hate Tom Petty?

I have the B&O unleashed (what an overhyped name) system and one single preset for Sirius, channel 711, Tom Petty's Buried Treasure keeps losing its marbles. I've attached some photos, but here's the sequence:
- start truck and sometimes the soft button for the station has "lost" its logo and just says "treasure" in plain text. If I push the button, the tuner goes to channel 1. If I then manually tune to 711, it's fine. I can then re-save the preset and it works fine. for a while. I do NOT have siriusxm profiles/personalizations turned on. What the hell is going on here?

I’m pretty sure this an internet only channel, which means it is coming from your phone. If you are using wireless CarPlay/android auto then a Delay in connecting on startup would cause this. If you are using wired be sure to plug in your phone before starting the truck.

hmm, I thought the truck had/has its own cellular connectivity for all navigation and infotainment purposes. I will investigate and report back.

unless you pay for a data plan it won't stream music. It only does OTA and lightweight data

Incorrect, for SirusXM (360) the trucks connection is used for those services, just like the connected navigation. The package that you buy is for music stream (amazon) as a separate service.

The truck cannot use CarPlay of Android auto for data when the phone is connected. The CarPlay or AA is just screen sharing, the apps you run in on those screens are running on the phone and only being displayed on Sync. Hence those apps use the phones data connection.

But the trucks SirusXM360 is via the trucks connected services data.

I have 23291_PRODUCT revision 1049, so later then yours. Since Ford doesn't put out release notes, who knows if it has any bug fixes for that.

well, there are no OTA updates available and I'm not going to screw around with a manual update. This is annoying, not life-changing, so i'll keep fiddling to see I can find a workaround. thanks for the input, y'all.

dang, that would drive me nuts. Has a dealer reset or re-flashed any of your truck's gear?
