The good news, if you have patience, is that you are getting updates. You'll catch up eventually, but it is the worst lottery ever waiting for Ford to decide to send us an update.

Often we see lots of posts on here with higher version numbers and think we are missing out. Really nothing in 2023 is a new feature. Once you have full screen AA/Carplay and Alexa they added nothing else. Until next level Bluecruise is finally released (probably next year) we have no new feature to be worth spending money to reach.

Probably no wonder why my truck does koo koo stuff randomly all the time. My SXM presets are bananalands some days.

With that update, you have full-screen capability now. It is possible that your buddy made changes with FORScan to change the appearance of his screen. Perhaps that is why it looks so different.

A question. I've gotten OTA's thru 6.4.0, so I think I'm more or less caught. However I still have a split screen. Is there anything I need to do to get a full screen>

Do you use Android Auto or CarPlay?

I know, sounds like a crazy question. But if you don't, you only have full screen in native Sync for Navigation.

Thanks. No I do not use either Car Play or Android Auto, mor do I use Ford's navigation. So, I'm good.

From my experience, presets changing to random things happens every time truck is trying to grab an OTA update. All back to normal next time truck is started.

Nothing any of us can do will trigger an update.

Ford has a system that seems random to everyone on here when they will drop an update in our truck queue. Once queued up it takes starting truck to trigger download and install.

OTA 4.3.4 has been sent to you twice, and both updates failed countless times and expired after 30 days of failing each. You battery SoC and capacity was recorded very low. Your battery may or may not need to be replaced, but charged at the very least. As far as Power Up OTAs go, you're missing all the 6.x.x updates. Not terribly behind.

No recent OTA activity showing. The Sync version your truck is on is the same one it left the factory with when it was built. It does not seem like your truck has ever recorded an OTA. Definitely not normal.
