this is quite blatant by the general population lol.
dealerships could give one less f*ck
what you did to your truck.
Dealers love add-ons that increase the appeal of a vehicle. They'll even put it front and center of the used lot. They won't however give you a penny more for it.

I voted on the case by case ONLY b/c you said private party.

nothing i'll say will carry weight due to others already mentioning it, but as goose pointed out, dealerships HATE aftermarket unless they have a customer looking specifically for what you might trade. I always keep stock parts to put cars back to stock.
Private party? i never intend to get what i've paid back on anything i end up doing. always know you'll rarely break even.

there are buyers out there, that will like to see service records/receipts for mods/services dont by reputable shops. explain to them that you and your buddy you paid in beer and pizza installed your suspension OR show a receipt from a local shop.

anyway i digress, i say case by case simply because someone may love your truck they way it is and its already ready for them to enjoy. maybe they arent looking to buy a truck and go out of pocket for mods.

I sold a 2016 Jeep Rubicon that listed new for $48k. I sold it for $75k in 2020 with my add-ons, but there were over $100k in modifications on the Jeep. So yes, I got more for a modified Jeep, but not nearly what it cost me to modify it - but the buyer knew the value of what he was getting.

The only people who think a modded vehicle is worth more is the person selling it. If you had a Ford Performance supercharger that might add a smidge, but also drastically reduce your buying pool.

Lift and aftermarket wheels? I don't even want it. Most modded vehicles are botched up and have quirks that stock vehicles don't have.
