23 order rollover to 24?

What’s up y’all. I ordered an 2023 XLT FX4 302a BAP 5.0 yesterday (08-12-23) and I got a confirmed by ford email about an hour later. I was wondering what are the chances the order will change to a 24? I know I ordered a bit late in the year and all.

From what I’m seeing I don’t really dig the 24 redesign that much. I hope it stays a 23.

Keep your eyes out for the order guide that gets published here and elsewhere. Thats the only way you'll discover what changes Ford has made to the specs of the trim level. Only then will you be available to add back via options features that you want and expect.

Keep your eyes out for the order guide that gets published here and elsewhere. Thats the only way you'll discover what changes Ford has made to the specs of the trim level. Only then will you be available to add back via options features that you want and expect.
So I would basically have to re-order then. That would blow after waiting awhile for a 23. Better be priority 01 after that…

Production on the 2024 models won't be until late in year so there is plenty of time to get yours done.

Wait and see what happens the next few weeks is only advise I can give. I would reach out to your ordering dealer if you are really concerned.

Orders aren't really locked in on spec until the build gets scheduled. So many people didn't check their order and the dealers failed to do it as well or tell Customers the change in spec.

Result was many posts with people upset that when their order showed up missing features they wanted but Ford removed/deleted or changed the option pack spec.

if you do get forced into a MY 24 you should get a decent rebate. My order for a MY22 was converted to a MY23 and I received an additional rebate "4k Model Year Transition Rebate" . Thank goodness the 22 and 23 didn't change.

I don't care for the 24 either but looking for the lemon aid when handed a lemon. :)

My original order was in May of 2022, about a day or two before they stopped taking orders that year. But I never received VIN. I used a local dealer on my original order. The dealer you use make a huge difference in getting your truck built.

IMO a strike will be what ends up pushing 23 orders into 24 models. Since Ford wont even officially unveil the 24s until next week with ordering guides and pricing, they wont be changing the production lines over until at least Oct, and I would guess mid Oct

By the end of next week we might know the answer to both

From what i read the 23My will be in production until mid DEC. So the changover to MY24 builds wouldnt be until mid dec/Early Jan
