Interesting I've been thinking about that mount for my ham radio control heads but was stuck with the wiring to the head thru the dash panel.

FWIW, Ford connected navigation has an RV routing setting. I have no idea how well it works but it is on my navigation options.

yes and no. It depends on when the truck was built and what was included. Mine doesn't have the correct wiring and the trailer came with the furrion system installed.

My 23 Limited has support for trailer yaw sensor, TPMS, and camera. I picked up the superduty kit for tpms and camera and a yaw sensor. I'm might have a small trailer but it's gonna be hi-tech.

One thing not mentioned for the folks asking about using phone nav apps when towing is that I've been in many locations where there was no cell service. When pulling a 30 foot camper, having a GPS signal calms a lot of nerves.

If you have Ford's Nav, no cell phone signal isn't a problem. However, downloading maps for offline use on your smartphone has worked well for me, especially whenever I've been overseas and don't want to connect (or pay) for overseas cell phone usage.

After 18 months of windshield mounted accessories when towing along with cables hanging all over the dash, decided to take the deep dive into a ball mount system.

Love the dedication / work.

There's a "spare" switched 20a pin for tapping on C265 if you need a spot for more accessories. It's for snow plow & heated rear seats and is fused in engine bay fuse box.
