lol It looks a lot more intimidating than it actually is.@rugedraw Thanks! This seems like the same thing that happened back in late January. I guess I'm going to have to develop the courage to trying to do it through FDRS. I already have the Mongoose and a proper battery charger - now I just need some cojones!
I didn’t receive any of the PU updates to my knowledge (never received a notification, but then again I didn’t get one for 3.5.4) can you check for those specifically? 1FTEW1E85NFC22840I suspect that one is particular to specific trims like the Raptor/Tremor trucks. I have not been able to collect enough info on it to verify.
I do not see those updates in your 60 day history. I would not stress those. There are very minor things you can live well without.I didn’t receive any of the PU updates to my knowledge (never received a notification, but then again I didn’t get one for 3.5.4) can you check for those specifically? 1FTEW1E85NFC22840
Thanks man! I know when @astrand1 last ran my module list a couple of days ago it did show PCM, BCM and IPC updates. Wasn’t sure if any of those were linked to the PU updates. One of these days I’ll get myself a windows laptop, mongoose and battery charger and just do it myself.I do not see those updates in your 60 day history. I would not stress those. Well, one of them is for the BCM. 22-PU1010 is a PCM OTA that very few trucks have gotten. I suspect it is only for Tremors/Raptors, so if you do get it, let me know as I am still collecting data before I can say I am sure about that. Thanks man! I am bit surprised to hear you have an IPC update pending based on how far your truck is in the OTA process.
Last FDRS I did was in Oct 25, 2022. I thought I was at 3.5.4 and then got an OTA of 3.5.3 in Jan. I also got 1007 & 1009 in Feb. Nothing until this month I got 4.2.1 & 4.2.2. Confusing to say the least.I wouldn’t worry about PU1010. I haven’t gotten it either. I only got PU1007 and 1009. I am speculating that if you used FDRS to apply the PCM update that came down in November you don’t need PU1010.
a couple of these are for installing a replacement module but most are updates available.Jesse was nice enough to check my truck's OTA status this morning. Do all of the files shown under the "Available Software" column, not just the ones also showing under the "Current Software" column, have to download as well? I had this 3.5.3 update pending in January, and it never completed, so now I am concerned about this time going through.

Not only is your truck up top date, but you got a GWM update sent a few days ago that I hadn't even seen yet. It does not have a rev number on it. Time to update the OTA thread. Can someone check my vin number please thank you!! 1FTFW1ED0NFC16090
I see when the dealer replaced the APIM and ran a PMI afterwards, so they did it right. 2.6.0 was sent to you in early February, but it failed due to a software mismatch. However, I see the dealer performed some module updates last week. They updated your APIM twice, your TCU twice and your GWM, too. Your truck is not fully up to date, but they did get you much closer that where you were before. After spending 8 weeks at the dealer last summer it was determined that I needed a new APIM. It was back-ordered and finally got replaced in late December 2022. I received 1 OTA update in early January (Sync version 2.1.1) and nothing since. I had it back at the dealer last week to replace the inverter since my AC outlets weren't working and let them know I was not getting any updates. They said this was due to a bad battery and replaced the battery. When I picked the truck up, I was told it was updated to the latest version. I don't see any of the newer features such as full-screen carplay.
When I check update status in the truck, it just says I'm up to date with a blank screen. According to my ford owner account I'm on Sync version 4.0.21233

No OTA history in the past 60 days and no OTA in queue at this time. The dealer will charge you because Ford does not pay them to update modules......even on new trucks still under warranty. It sucks.....I know. You need hours and hours worth of updates based on your current version. It would be cheaper for you to buy a Mongoose OBDII tool and do the updates yourself. So I had the wiper arms recall done and the unintended tailgate csp done, was told if I wanted the updates preformed it would be $120/hr. Now that I have been seeing the job 1 2021'S getting updates can someone check my vin please. Hopefully there is a update in my queue

Edit: The wording on the OTA is the same as the wording for OTA 4.2.3 which also updates the GWM. I am guessing it is the same update. For some reason, PTS doesn't say it was 4.2.3 but based on the fact the OTA you got before that one 4.2.2, it has to be 4.2.3.
