Someone with a subscription to PTS would need to look that up. But it’s quite possible that one of these updates could be holding up OTA’s.

Could someone look up my VIN - 1FTFW1E89MKD62304 - again?

Last time it was in the dealership in January it was to put on 22B08. They said it could not go on because Ford had just put a hold on 21G01 which impacted 22B08.

At that time you guys confirmed that that was indeed the reason that they could not put on 22B08.

It's almost two months later and I am hoping someone can help me understand where I stand what course of action I should take from here.

I would like to get current and to get BlueCruise activated.

Thanks!
Could someone look up my VIN - 1FTFW1E89MKD62304 - one more time?

Last week was a good week! My dealer actually put some updates on my truck so at least now it has a code level and OTA's are enabled.

And can you tell me where I stand and what I need to do next?

Thanks a lot!!!

I hear 2021s are getting some update love finally. Appreciate someone seeing if I am due...

1FTFW1ED5MFB13052

Thanks guys
You truck got 4.2.1 two days ago. The only thing I see missing from your recent OTA history is 3.5.4 which is a TCU update that allows dual phone connectivity. You are very close to being up to date as far as OTA goes and your FDRS list of updates is very short, too.

VIN 1FTFW1E84NKF11462
Your last OTA was 3.5.3.2. Your truck being a 2022 is only missing 3.5.4 and the newer 4.2.x updates. Nothing to worry about in your case. Be patient and you pending updates will come via OTA.

Could someone check my 21 for OTA updates? I’m 99% sure I’m way over due. I’m on either 2.7.3 or 2.7.4

vin:1FTFW1E5XMFB84143
Last recorded OTA on your truck was October of last year. Your truck is past the point of where 2021's are known to get stuck, but Ford does not push out those older updates often. A lot of 2021's have been sent 2.7.3/2.7.4 lately and a lot of these updates have failed to install. While you are still getting updates, many truck including my own had trouble with those IPC OTA's and in my case, I got tired of it, got a Mongoose and did it myself. If I were, that's what I would do.

Hi, please check 1FTFW1ED1MFB77993
Ford Pass shows the last update 10-7-22, preparing for more coming "soon'.
Ford OTA support told me an update failed in February.
3.5.3 was sent to you late January, but it timed out before it was able to download the files it needed. It is a very common problem with that update. Your truck is fine; the problem with this update is on Ford's side. You just have to wait for it to be resent to you and hope it goes through next time.

Your last OTA was almost two years ago and you are on Sync 20301 which is a red flag your truck is stuck in OTA limbo, Without dealer intervention, your truck will most likely never get an update. Your dealer need to perform TSB 22-2404 to manually repair/update your APIM or diagnose it as faulty and replace it with a new one.

If anyone available to check my vin: 1FTFW1ED2MFB27491
You got 3.5.3 and two of the 22-PU10xx updates recently. You are only missing 3.5.4 and the new 4.2.xx updates just released. Your truck is fine. Be patient and you should get the rest sooner than later.

Can someone lookup mine as well please?

4.2.1 installed 3 days ago and 4.2.1.2 is pending in your queue to install as I type this.

Hi I'm being told by ford I'm up to date with sync however I have none of the new features, I've had 22B08 completed 45days ago but to my knowledge I have never recieved an OTA update of any kind. Could someone run my info to see if I'm out of date in FDRS. I'm fighting with ford currently to support their product but I'm getting to the point of wanting to just do it myself. The 750 cdn Mongoose is alot and then there is the risk of me screwing something up. I had thought if getting the VCX nano but I've heard it no longer works? Can someone look up my truck info? Thanks

Just like @Lawrence52: Your last OTA was over two years ago and you are on Sync 20301 which is a red flag your truck is stuck in OTA limbo, Without dealer intervention, your truck will most likely never get an update. Your dealer need to perform TSB 22-2404 to manually repair/update your APIM or diagnose it as faulty and replace it with a new one.

I see your dealer successfully ran a repair procedure on your APIM and updated it afterwards. Your Sync version is blank since they updated it, so I can't tell where you are now. Do you know what sync version your truck was on before they updated it?

Before the update it said "SYNC4, Software Version: -------" (no version).

Now it says "SYNC4, Software Version: 21146_PRODUCT, Revision: 145".

Does that tell you anything?

Thank you for the info. I’m dropping it tomorrow so hopefully they will be accepting of help received from a forum. They seem to take it as some sort of affront for whatever reason. I appreciate you sharing the info.

It tells me they most likely got you out of OTA limbo like the other guys I just mentioned that were on Sync 20301. You are very far behind in updates if that is your Sync version, but now when your VIN comes up in the queue for an OTA trigger from Ford, you will get it sent to you. Once a truck gets updated manually, it deleted all the info in PTS I use to determine where a truck is in the process, so I cannot see where your truck was, but based on what I can see, they pulled up TSB 22-2404 and then performed an APIM repair, so I am 99% sure you were on Sync 20301 and they got you past that broken update.

No, wait, it seems I mixed your VIN with someone else. Your truck was sent 2.6.0 mid March but it failed to install. It did not record an error message, but it never downloaded any files when the OTA trigger was created and it timed out two weeks later. You are very behind on updates as your Sync version is software from 2021, but your truck is past the 20301 hump.

My bad......I was away for the weekend and was checking about a dozen VINs at a time and mixed yours up. The older updates you need are rarely pushed out to trucks, so it will be quiet a while before you are up to date if you depend on OTA's.
