The wheels and tires I weighed were under 70 lbs.

My apologies. I was reading your scale upside-down. Is it possible that the Wranglers weigh ~11 lbs less than the Generals?

A while back I posted my unmounted SL Grabber ATX tire weight at 47.6 lb: #27

Those tires are going on tomorrow at the dealership and I have a stack of unmounted OEM Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT tires in the garage waiting to be put up for sale. I'll weigh one tomorrow.

I took two measurements today:

1. 275/65R18 SL 116T Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT tire: 38.5 lb
2. For those interested, my 275/70R18 SL 116T Grabber ATX + 18" Sport wheel combo: 80.3 lb (T- 2 hrs till they go on ?)

So with the two examples @kb2755 weighed, the Wranglers were ~9lbs. less than the Generals. Given that, a roughly 11lb. difference between the two would seem within the realm of possibility.
