@superfordman Whoops I think I was mistaken and don't have front parking sensors with my regular Co-Pilot Assist. It looks as though the harness comes with them. Are there just little clips for the sensors go to into behind the bumper?

Here's a pic of the front of the truck on the day I picked it up.

You will need the MA harness then, unless you plan on adding park sensors.

Got it. I think that seems like a bunch more work. What I really care about is the Adaptive Cruise, so I'll get the "M" harness I think, unless the park sensors are stupid easy, which doesn't really seem like it?

It's not a ton of extra work. I bought the NA harness but didn't do the park sensor yet.
It's around $200 in parts and you need to drill the holes in the bumper. There's a thread on it in this form. If you already have the bumper off and you want park sensors, It makes sense to do it.

Ok, I'll just get the NA then. It's like $10 more. Was just concerned that the empty sensor connectors might throw a code or something. If it'll be fine and leave me open to add the sensors later, that'll be a nice-to-have option.

Nah, will only have a code if you make the FORscan changes to add park sensors without having then sensors plugged in. Otherwise the IPMA isn’t looking for the sensors, so no codes.

@superfordman

Quick question regarding the new ForScan "easy mode" changes on your sheet. I assume that all of the changes are specific values that show in the "Edit Selected", which seems pretty straightforward. The one that's a bit confusing is the last one for VIN.

If my VIN is: 1FTFW1ED7NFB83640

How would that look in the sheet below?

You need to copy your vin from the IPMA.
Copy 19-1 through 19-4 of the IPMA to 1-1 through 1-4 of the CCM.

Both of you guys are in the same boat pretty much. You'll need the CCM, bracket, harnessing, then all the forscan changes required. Neither of you have nav looks like which it will still work in that case, just IACC won't work, but ACC and lane centering will just fine. If i had to guess both of your trucks should be prewired from the bumper harness connector back into the IPMA, but a few posts on here show you exactly what to look for there.
If you dont mind a follow up question - What is main differnce between IACC and ACC with lane cetering. Is it jsut the speed sign recognition? I have a 302A getting picked up on Friday. I have IPMA out of a 2021 platinum - the cameras and CCM. On the fence about adding front parking sensors and going maybe all in with parking assist but starting with caemras and cruise

Yeah that’s the only difference. IACC adjusts the cruise for you.

Yep.
I have full Bluecruise and don't enable the Intelligent portion of adaptive cruise.
I'm the brain behind the throttle and the wheel, as scary as that might seem to those who know me.

You won't miss it, in my opinion.

Ready to go all in - dont even have the truck yet ? ?. Think i have everything except the cargo camera connector and ccm connecor - for ccm I am tryign to decide if I want to add parking sensors and if so will get the full 4 or 6 sensor harness.

I'd do front park sensors but just 4, you don't need the outer unless you plan on adding active park assist which will require a lot more parts.
