Thanks a lot for this. Do you know what the "Target Identifier" column means? It looks like it downloaded the first three files to other "targets" just fine, then got hung up on whatever the 8060 "target" is. Anyone know what 8060 means?

@Jesse-Infotainment My truck is stuck downloading the 4th file included in PowerUp 3.5.3 package for 2 days now. It's been on a battery charger, had solid wifi and cellular signal. Any clue why and what happens next? Thank you
Almost every truck I have checked getting 3.5.3 is going through this same thing where only the first 3 download and the rest are in limbo.

@pavementends

THE NUMBERS TO THE LEFT ARE LOCATIONS INTERNALLY.

Not much you can do other than wait. I can send the update to manually install. Its 5.7 GB.
Oh God. You should have sent that in a PM. lol

I guess my old bones are impatient/curious about what is lurking in the Ford cloud for my truck...and whether I want to invest in the whole FDRS thing. Got lucky with a PB Platinum with no deletions and want to insure it's up to date.

I'd appreciate someone giving my VIN a look-see.

Thanks.
Nothing in your queue. You having a 2022 would only be missing a few updates. Nothing to worry or stress about. If you haven't gotten them, you will.

Thanks in advance for your assistance --

Nothing since you got 3.5.2 on 1/10.

Does PTS show download failure date/time? If my truck eventually does download/install the full 3.5.3 it'll be interesting to see how long between attempts and how long it takes after it's first, second, third, etc failure. That way you could say "it failed first attempt, give it 2 more days to try again"

This is all I see. It just keeps saying "update to start file download" which is why I would tell people to click "check for updates" and "update now", but apparently, it doesn't help the cause.

It looks like the OTA campaign/effort expires on Feb 7th, so let's see what it does in the next week or so. Thanks a lot you guys
What does this mean? If the updates don’t happen in a specific truck by Feb 7th it won’t happen?

Because @rugedraw provided me a screenshot of PTS for my VIN I'm able to see that my OTA PowerUP 3.5.3 campaign lasts exactly 2 weeks and "expires" Feb 7, which I think means that if my truck doesn't download and install within that date the Ford mothership no longer tries to push the update to my truck for, I believe, about 2 months, then tries again. I'm not sure if the 2-week campaign window is standard nor do I know if the ~2 month gap between attempts/campaigns is standard. Maybe someone else can fill in the gaps....

You can't guide yourself by anything PTS says. I just checked a truck for someone on the F150forum who got 3.5.3 sent to him at 12:15pm today, downloaded the same three files, and the OTA failed and timed out by 4:30pm. It timed it before I got to see when the OTA trigger was supposed to expire. Lol For all we know, your update can time out and fail as I type this.

@rugedraw if you have some time can you help me see status of 1FTFW1ED2MFB27491
No OTA history in the past 60 days and nothing in queue. I have limited access now and you have a 2021, so remind me tomorrow to check your truck again from the office so I can look at it again and see if you have deeper rooted issues.

I had a check on FDRS done last week and I was planning to do the APIM update this week. But, 3.5.3 was sent to my truck and installed yesterday. Could someone have a quick look and see if the APIM update is gone in FDRS? If not I will get a 2 day license and install the update.
Thank you in advance

It is gone....all you have this morning is an ACM update.

Wow. Looks like the truck needs a lot! I keep it connected to Wifi and drive about an hour a day so battery is good (now that they replaced it after failed). Not sure what else to do to prompt an update. I saw someone reset their sync so may try that this weekend.

Thank you for looking it up!!!

No problem...I think the Wi-Fi thing is a red herring.... I don't think any updates come over Wi-Fi because of the potential for "man-in-the-middle" attacks. The TCU is a direct encrypted connection to the mothership. 99% sure that's why it's the only way that OTAs are delivered. Oh, and resetting your Sync won't help this.
