Do anyone get the Premium Maintenance Plan from Ford? Does the plan use full synthetic oil? Is it okay not to use full synthetic oil? Thanks in advance!

I bought it at Ford’s website, i did not see that option. I wonder if it’s too late to add now.I got one on my 2021 F-150. You have to specifically purchase the full synthetic option when you buy the plan. Otherwise, the service department will only use conventional oil.
I had never heard of PMP (I tend to ignore Ford marketing) so I looked it up. According to the website description, it offers "preventive care and replacement of normal “wear and tear” items..." and the list includes wiper blades, brake pads, belts, etc. So you may have paid up front for a lot of costs that occur down the road. I'm looking into it because I'm not one to work on my truck; I just want to use it. Depending on the fine print, it might be worth it for someone like me. Thanks for posting.I got mine for $2024 with 11 service visits, that came out to be $184 a visit, is that a good deal? Never had a truck before but I don’t recall it’s that expensive to maintain a car.
It might be too late to add, but it may make sense to cancel for a refund (depending on how long ago you purchased it) and then purchase the plan again. This time from Granger or Ziegler Ford for a much better price.I bought it at Ford’s website, i did not see that option. I wonder if it’s too late to add now.

Hmm.. I didn't realize that cancelling/rebuying was possible. I'll look into it further, as I feel the dealer likely gouged me there a bit.It might be too late to add, but it may make sense to cancel for a refund (depending on how long ago you purchased it) and then purchase the plan again. I plan to keep my truck until the last mile. I think I’ll ask the dealer to provide full synthetic oil and pay the difference in cost.Partial synthetic vs full synthetic - in my opinion, it really depends on how long you plan on owning the truck. I never keep them more than 100K miles, so I don't feel like spending the extra money. Any time I sell trade or sell a vehicle, no one gives a cr** about whether I used full synthetic or not.
On pricing, I have a quote for $1590 from Granger for service every 7.5K miles until 100K miles on a 2022 F-150 (wife's vehicle) for partial synthetic and no extras.
Don't feel bad, I paid just under $2000 for a similar plan on my 2022 Raptor in October. Wish I had known about the Granger pricing then.
That’s a lot of money. You have to remember they would not sell these if they weren’t profit centers. Personally I buy my own full synthetic oil and motorcraft filters. In winter I take my truck into my local ford dealer they do it for $25. Which includes tire rotation. So $25 plus we will say $30 for oil and filter. It’s a bit less than that I figure about $50 or so. That’s a far cry from $184! Even if I have them do the entire job with synthetic blend it’s about $60 and full synthetic is about $100. Anyway if I was you I’d ask for a refund on that deal. If anything use it towards a Ford ESP (extended warranty)I bought it at Ford’s website, i did not see that option. I wonder if it’s too late to add now.

I think you’re right. I’ll call to cancel the maintenance plan and get the warranty plan from Granger. That’s a lot of money.
