If you are going to pay for ceramic, make sure you get a good warranty (3 or 4 years) and that the installer offers annual check ups and will correct any areas (for free) that may have not adhered properly (or worn). Make sure they do the plastic parts as well. My truck has to sit outside, and I've always noticed that the plastic parts start to fade long before the paint suffers.

The second vehicle I ever had ceramic coated. The installer didn't offer any sort of warranty but they claimed it was good for three years. Let's just say that I didn't feel like it lasted but maybe 12 months.

Your number 1 above just confirmed why I am holding out and not buying one off the lot. Everyone I find on the lot has the heated steering wheel removed. If I am spending $70k, I am getting a heated steering wheel and not a $140 credit for them deleting it. It is either too cold in the winters in the Midwest or I am getting really soft.

Just checked and still at 954 modules and waiting.

I dont blame you, If I had a 22 on order with it I wouldnt want to lose it. my truck wont have it and while not a deal breaker I wish it wasnt removed. I am hoping that at some point Ford offers a retrofit. but I am a realist, if they do it will probably cost a thousand bucks, not $140

Exactly! Friends have asked me why I didn't cancel and get a 2023. Ah, no heated steering wheel and higher payments, that's why!

Exact same response I give and also everyone that is comparable always has a moonroof. For me I never open it and chances of leaking, also takes away from payload

It’s funny when I started this thread I thought it would be maybe a week for my hold and a couple pages with a few guys. I know this is the worst thread to be a part of but I really have enjoyed myself and have got to meet all of you guys. It still brings a smile to my face reading it multiple times a day. You guys are awesome!

Ford F-150 Chip hold My22 & My23 1672270845156

I ordered my truck on November 4th, 2021. Multiple build date delays. Chip hold hell. I just got the call. It arrived today and I can pick it up tomorrow. I had to check the tracker and even that is updated. Wow. What a ride it's been! Looks like there is good movement this week.

That is so great! It’s almost over! Will need some pics and also change your status on the poll?
