No it was a gps and ford modem ant. I replaced it with the sat version. I don’t know whats under the drivers side though

You might need to adjust the little bumpers in the front so the hood has a more positive connection. The hood on my PB does not move at all that I’ve seen.

my 2013 f150 had alum hood and it didnt shake or jump like it wanted out or off
the 2016 exp had alum hood and it never did the LETS depart the truck dance either. i drove about 80 miles once with it unlatched from me pulling hood release vice e brake. i found it when i stopped for gas.
my 2021 f250 SCARED THE manure out of you at how that thing jumped and flexed. 1st time i thought i had unlatched the hood by mistake
my 2022 f150 is not as bad as the super duty, but it still flat gets your attention
i will look at bump stops to see if it needs some adjusting
what helped the super duty was a hood bug deflector from ford accessories, it seemed to do something to the air flow and make it more stable

I think the rear wheel well air deflectors were introduced for 22+ models so that may be a visible indicator of whether it's a 2021 or a 2022-23. I ditched the ones on my 2022 as I thought they looked odd so I guess you really can't judge a book by its cover.

Mine is an April 22 build. It does not have those.

seems it’s a Kansas City thing if you have the black running boards (mine is a mid year 2021, KcAP build with optional black running boards, but there may be other part numbers since I searched using my VIN

Same here. I dont notice anything at high speed or large rigs.

Yep, infotainment has the module and the necessary wiring I had to get an factory antenna but my wiring was already there.

Dang, I'm glad I'm not the only one with the hood flex issue.

I keep thinking mine is loose, and I messed with the tension and stuff within the first 500 miles.

It's the center section of the hood flexing, if I pay attention to it, the center section kind of floats up and down, the leading edge and fender areas seem to be pretty solid.

Hopefully the hood deflector will fix most of it.

At this point I checked it enough times to know it's latched and secure, but it's still a little unnerving catching it out of the corner of my eye. Wind gusts and 18 wheelers are the main cause.

My truck has both of the antenna things on the roof, 2022 XL with no XM or nav.

Only difference I know of is for MY2 you could get OWL tires, not so for MY22, also the bump stops on MY22 are different then MY21

They're on my Jan 2021 Build 302a... (same colour BTW)
