09/19/22 Build Week -- Final Delivery

To add onto the interesting observations we have a small but diverse sample group of all the trucks for this build week. There does not seem to be a singular cause for delays. Some experience build delays, built trucks can sit for weeks waiting for rail shipment, rail shipment can bounce around the countryside, then there are waits for trucking the last mile to the dealer. So some slip through the system pain free while others get hung up at various snags along the way.
On the possible good news front, I may have avoided the Bigstuf long term parking black hole at ramp 6P. I believe it was there for a couple of weeks. Checking on order tracker this morning the shipped box is checked but no date, just final prep at dealer. For me, order tracker info has been sketchy so we will see if Ford and Dealer delivery confirmation emails come in this week.

If you are in “dealer prep” I’m pretty sure you’re in the clear! Congrats….mine finally showed up after sitting from July 26-Nov 1. I would not wish that on ANYONE

Sounds like you’re going through the same thing I did. Mine sat from July 26th-Nov 1st. In October I started BLOWING UP the Ford Executive emails that are listed in another thread on here, finally got a response, and exactly 2 weeks later it arrived at the dealer. Good luck!

Checked with Chip at Granger today. He told me it's in chip hold but they're hoping to have it by the 16th. I'm guessing this is just the same BS Ford fed me that they are having to relay. I've been told all kinds of dates, but nothing holds true.

Another ETA bump to 11/16 here. Hunting for on lot vehicles at this point.

Found a Lariat 502a PB matching my Platinum build closely that blended 10/2/22! Already on a lot in metro Atlanta while my order is still "In Production"

Differences that come to mind are Dealer Order, Exterior Color (AMB), BAP, Power Running boards, Platinum badging or seats.

The chip hold thread is talking about PB batteries being on hold recently. My bet is "hold" on one of those differences... but that's just me trying to make sense of the clown show.

Mine just updated to delivered (dealer final steps) this afternoon. Of course I can't confirm it since my neighbor/dealer is out of town, so hopefully he can confirm for me once he's back.

My tracking is showing delivered as well but haven't heard from Granger yet.

Both Ford and order track agree so I'm sort of surprised. I emailed chip Tuesday and he told me Dec 2nd.

Who knows anymore. I'll believe it when I get pics ?

My truck has arrived at Granger. 11/11/22.

Almost 10 months to the day from when I placed my order.

My neighbor was back today and confirmed that my truck is there and made it through PDI. They’re sending it to get the bed liner sprayed in, so I should have it sometime next week. I’ll update when I have it and send my hopes that more movement happens for those still waiting.
