Chip hold My22 & My23

Did you convert to MY23 because of the long wait or did Ford/dealer cancel and re-order?

Ford regional rep advised my dealer to cancel and reorder to guarantee my Raptor allocation supposedly

not necessarily. I think I’m on chip hold for my 23 and paid 7k more than my 22 order

haha well we already know some 10/24 week people are on chip hold for MY23 trucks, but other MY23 trucks have gotten shipping notices.

We collectively have millions worth of product orders and seems like asking for an explanation of how they choose what truck gets chips and not wouldn’t be out of order. I haven’t been waiting long so I can’t complain like some of you but it doesn’t seem right for a 10/25 blend to ship when a 7/15 truck is still waiting on chips.

Supposedly the truck I ordered in April should arrive at the dealer sometime within the next week.

If anyone is interested in a '22 Limited in Antimatter Blue without multicontour seats, one should be available in Central Ohio soon.

Got a Ford email last night that said it should ship (Convoy) to Granger between 11/4 and 11/10. Chip told me the same thing last week so maybe it is "more" official now and likely for this date.

We will see if/when it moves into the "Shipped" column. I'm hoping I can get it by 11/16 or I will have to wait 2 more weeks until 11/30 before I can travel. That is assuming this info is good. Maybe a big assumption on my part.

But seeing MY23's being delivered before I even have a clue as to what is going on with my MY22 truck is pushing me beyond my limits. The smart man waits, but no one has ever told me I'm smart.

I feel the same way. I found pretty much the same truck about 2.5 hours from me but they want about 10K more then I am locked in at (different dealership) and I also would lose the 0% financing too. My mind says wait but I really need the new truck by the end of 2022 for our business.

Realistically its a bigger F you to Ford if you wait and make them eat the 10k on the vehicle you ordered.
