Has anyone installed 295/70R18 (34.3 - 11.6) tires with a 2.5 leveling kit?

Thanks, guess I will find out Friday. I just ordered the 295/70 for my stock wheels and I’m running the 5100’s

I'm always curious or think if i should have gone 285/75/18 ...rather then 295/70

I'm considering the same 2 sizes. Why are you second guessing the 285/75's? This was my first choice, but I'm now reconsidering other sizes.

I have an incoming Lariat PB, 157, Carbonized Gray. Plan to do a 2 or 2 1/2" level for now. Just received a set of Method 317's, +18, in Titanium. I'm really leaning towards the 295/70 Wildpeaks now. If the poke is too much I could always add the Air Design flares and paint to match.

You should be more than fine with a leveling kit.

If you stick to 295/70R18 with stock wheels (Offset) no trimming or rubbing. Even with a +20 or +1 positive offset you'll be ok. It does work nicer with a 2" or 2.5" level. If you go negative offset like a -12 or above, most definitely you'll need to trim front and rear crash bars and one of the fender wells and bumper.

I got the air design fender flares for mine. I have +12 offset wheels with 295 70 18. In my opinion the wheels were too sunk in with those flares on. Ended up with Bushwacker OEM style flares.
To the OP- I really like that size tire. It looks good with a 2 inch leveling kit.

Looks great! I have an Oxford white with these wheels as well! Now I’m feeling like sticking with the oem wheels…
