On the VVR (Vehicle Visibility Report) the dealer sent me, it shows what the "disposition ETA" is. My interpretation is "ETA to get out of the current status".

Current status is "micro-chip hold at plant" with a disposition ETA of Sept 17 - Sept 23.

I'm not saying I'm correct - that's my interpretation :)

That's the same date range I was given and then arriving at dealer by end of month. Those are the ideal dates because they want to be done with MY22 when they start 23. I'm not in a rush to get mine because I've already cancelled my camper and planned trips. I just hate not knowing when it will come in because I have to take 3 days off work to pick it up.

Same with me now, I canceled an RV (camper) trip and I've towed my boat around with my van all summer. Now I'm okay to wait another month before the payments start! :)

Heck I'll likely be picking my truck up on my birthday at this rate (end of October) - that'll be a fun present.

Oh and I don't NEED to take 3 days off to go pick up my truck, but I may very well take 3 days off to take a road trip to Quebec city in it!!

It's an 11 hour drive to pick mine up- Tennessee to Virginia. I might add a couple days to actually make a vacation out of it depending on work.

If your truck is built and on chip hold, it's not going to turn into a 2023. 675 trucks in production is peanuts in comparison to the 3,000+ they can product in a 24hr period.

Hoping that accepting a shipment of parts (chips or otherwise) and sending a small army of Ford factory workers to gather 650 trucks to put in a couple of missing parts isn't a two week ordeal!

Ya never know though!
Pretty sure once you get a VIN you are guaranteed a MY22. The VIN has the year embedded in it so they cannot convert to a MY23.

and if it is built and you have a window sticker again I don't see how they can convert to the next year.

Yep that's what I was clarifying. Ford isn't on a deadline to have 600+ MY22s in the next two weeks. It could take longer and they could even start shipping 23s before some of us get our 22s.

I asked my dealer for an update on my order, I also asked when they were going to stop scheduling MY22 and if my price is locked if it is converted. This is his response:

No VIN yet, it is still showing as unscheduled clean order.

They are building 2022 to near the end of year.

If it cancels it will not have price protection going into 2023

I order on 5/11 or 5/12, Lariat 502 BAP EcoBoost and most options checked.

I read somewhere else in the forum that Ford may offer an incentive/credit of sorts for those who get bumped to the next MY...

I spoke with my dealership Wednesday. And this is where my family works so they wont BS me. They were told by Ford that MY2022 will stop being built in the first 2 weeks of October earlier in Dearborn. If truck is not built by then it will be "balanced out". They told me no price protection for MY2023. I ordered a 23 just to get on the list if I get balanced out. But I learned yesterday from a fellow forum contributor that according to the module list mine is built and most likely in chip hold also. These are things that Ford never shared with me. Mine went into production on 8/15 they told me the first time then on 8/26 they changed it to 8/26 and haven't heard anything since.

The last several post have been interesting, as it seems if you have a '22 they will be completing them here in the next several weeks. Assuming they have enough chips. My truck has been in production since 3/15/22 and Ford chat told me last evening that the latest note on is "delayed due to chip" ETA for build complete is 10/3/22. I really hope they complete mine before they build '23 trucks. I also have 1056 modules, which is a lot less than I seen for other Platinum PB. I do see that I have 712 and 713 modules, which I hope that means I have the multi contour seats.

That means it has been built. It’s just setting in a parking lot with mine waiting on some part.
Thanks for all the information. I talked with my dealership and they looked at the VVR. It shows it is sitting in Dearborn on chip hold. To be released this week I guess. I got a notification from Fordpass and my new truck is awaiting activation.

That's great. Were you able to active it? I ordered one earlier this year and was able to activate mine while it was on chip hold. I'm not able to active the second one I ordered.

I guess the 600+ that are 'in progress' is just F150's. Apparently Ford had 45k unfinished vehicles just waiting on parts.

The tracking information that we get via various spreadsheets or even the ordertrack.app are crowdsourced only - the information there is entered by users that know about the app(s) - generally via this or other forums.

All others who have ordered F150s (customers who just order and don't go on forums, including dealers, fleet customers) have not provided the information to the app therefore it's not included :)

Contrary to what ordertrack.app may say, there aren't only 278 trucks in the awaiting shipment status :)
