That's great. Shared experience. My Ford chat sessions bore no fruit-they basically para-phrased my 2 FoMoCo emails. My salesperson is basically Ford's national fleet guy, and the truck is being "Courtesy Delivered" in Carson City, NV. My 4th vehicle through him-straight shooter. Anyway, fingers crossed you get the "Shipped" email shortly...

Oh yes!! This is exciting, hope you love it! :)
Hey Ford, you should consider doing some sort of factory pickup for orders like Chevy does for Corvettes. My truck has been built since early June and might be delivered mid-august if I am lucky.

I would be more than happy to just drive the 4.5 hours to get it myself and not have it sitting for 2 months.

FINALLY got to pick up the truck last Friday! It only took 8 months and a week to get it done. There was a scratch on the cab and I ended up with a chip in the door 3 days later after the dog jumped on it...but the dealer took care of both of those! All better now. I am pretty disappointed about the loss of the max recline seat...and the massage on the standard one. Overall though...I LOVE THIS TRUCK! It looks fantastic...drives great...and the Powerboost is pretty awesome! I'm getting better gas mileage in this thing than I was in my 2010 BMW 3 series. So...overall...WIN! It was worth the wait.

I changed out the license plate lights, the antenna, and the tow mirror caps right away. The Armorflex tonneau and wheel well liners will be here in a few days.

Here are a couple of obligatory driveway pictures :)

Well, yesterday I got an email from Ford saying it was delayed until early August.

Today, my dealer called me and told me the truck showed up last night.

Honestly, very confused, but still pretty excited. Hoping to pick it up tonight.

Here is it y’all. Got a bed cover and short antenna installed. I think the next thing will be a dashcam (both front and rear) so recommendations on that would be appreciated!

I've gone through a good amount of dash cams, have them on every vehicle I own including my company owned work van. It depends on what you're looking for since they're tons of various ones obviously. Over the rear view mirrors, stuck to the windshield, dash mounted. I would say get one with a capacitor rather than battery, most use caps now since batteries in the heat don't do well. I've had a battery expand in one before. Another one is wifi, having to take the SD card out and pull the videos off is a hassle. Especially if needed at a crash scene, which also helps if you see one and stop to help. Able to jump on the app, connect, and pull the video right off. Any questions please ask away, will help out as best of my knowledge.

Glad most of y'all are getting shipping info or trucks! Hopefully yours lasts longer than mine. 2 weeks to the day and 1000 miles in from pickup mine's in the shop with check engine lights and electrical fault warnings on the turbo.

Edit to add: I drove straight to the dealership about 10 min from my house and they told me to just drive it until their next available appointment in 3 weeks. With no turbo, reduced power, and no cruise control etc. Who knows what that will do to it beyond being a nuisance and not all that safe limping onto the interstate etc. Went to another dealership about a half hour away and thankfully they got me in and a rental car this morning. Never seen a dealership tell someone throwing electrical failure codes on a truck that doesn't even have permanent tags yet to come back in 3 weeks. Bet @Ford Motor Company won't be responding to this post telling me how excited they are for me though!

Apologies ahead of time as I am completely clueless when it comes to dashcam technology.

When you say wifi, do you mean it records and stores locally, but offloads footage using your phone?

Also when you say capacitor, does that just mean a unit that is hardwired into your truck?

I am willing to spend a decent amount on a setup, but the last thing I want to do is go to best buy or somewhere and just guess which one is good for me lol.

I basically want one that is hardwired, not super noticeable, and easily able to pull up footage from

No apologies needed at all, I've learned a lot over trial and error so I knew absolutely nothing before as well.

Yes, everything will be stored onto an SD card locally. Start up the app and connect with wifi to review and pull the footage off. It can be viewed on the cameras screen also but the app is much better.

Yes, the dash cameras using the capacitors need to be hard wired or wired into a USB port for power. This helps with the life longevity rather than a battery that'll die from chargers over time too. Plus the swelling up from heat.

I purchased this one I'll link below. My truck was just delivered today so I haven't installed it but from research it looks great. I've powered it up and connected my phone through the app and all works well. This one also has a third camera pointing towards the interior. I'd like to get one that has a 360 view like the Tesla does with its built in cameras, Ford could do it. So this will have to due for now for a somewhat 360 view.

Nice!! Is that BAP or Sport Appearance? You don't mess around-topper and de-badging in less that a day. Sweet looking ride.

It is BAP. I wasn't sure how it would look in person but I love the wheels, hood, and dual mufflers.

and yeah trying to customize slowly since I just bought it lol. Not trying to spend a ton of money up front but can't help myself.
