Anyone added a Fumoto Oil Drain Valve to their 3.5L yet? I think I've found the correct number (F137N) but having difficulty cross-referencing it on Amazon. Thanks

Think I'm gonna get one installed on my Next PB, i have had two trucks now and use a deflector shied when i pull the oil drain, if not it makes a heck of a mess, like the controlled flow. thanks for the link!!

Been using fumotos for almost 20 years on every one of our vehicles. Once the free oil changes are used up, I will order and install one on this PB.

Same here, never had a failure on these on any of our 120+ vehicles in the work fleet. I just added one to my PB this past Saturday.

Just did mine too but only because the Talon cat. Plate Instructions suggested it. I did opt for the adapter.

Thanks for posting this! I just received my valve but had the clip on the wrong way.

For what's it worth, those clips are a more recent addition in the last few years. They didn't used to have them. I've never had one come off, but I think it is more for peace of mind than actual function. It would be pretty tough for something to articulate the lever even without the plastic piece and if something is able to do that, it would probably rip the plastic off anyway if it was there. Not sure why kind of testing they did with it when they decided to make them.

I think it was more to ensure the lever was in the fully closed position than anything else, IE, clip won't seat - make sure the lever is in the detent and fully closed. A couple of my former techs occasionally didn't close the lever all the way, which thankfully only resulted in drips, but I can see that being a possible reason for them, rather than keeping them from opening. That's just my guess.

Scares the shit out of me to take this in for free oil changes now... I can just see a young lube jockey screwing this up, wrenching the whole thing off or loosing the clip.

I have over 25,000 miles on this one.
Don’t need to touch the belly pan thing.
Has a cap in case the valve fails, will slow the leak enough to hopefully avoid engine damage.

I have never seen that one. That actually looks outstanding if there is the room. Thanks for posting the link!
