Ford picked me up thursday for 7/4 build. Phase 2, I guess I wait for a window sticker and stare at that for a little bit now. At least there's hope now.

You have a month before that sticker shows up. So enjoy your free time. Nothing to do till then

Question as I am not trusting my own eyes. On the order tracking site, does the status ever change from in-transit to shipped? If so, what is the difference?

I ordered a 4x4 rcsb 5.0 3.73 Xl high Oxford white on the 26th, got confirmation same day. Then realized I’d be waiting a minute, saw some videos, and changed order to xlt mid (or whatever the highest is for a rcsb) and color to race red and it took over a month to get a confirmation. I changed it 03/31 I believe and then got the confirmation 5/7. Idk if it’s still counted as a February order or not, since I went up a trim level and changed color.

Ordered 2/14/22.

Platinum, Supercrew, 4X4, Smoked Quartz, Powerboost, 701A, BAP, 7.2KW Onboard Power, Interior Work Surface, Trailer Tow, Tow mirrors, Max Recline.

Not Scheduled, No VIN, 4/11/22 Active Park Assist removed (67X)
I have yet to receive my VIN as well, but I was curious about your copilot 360 active 2.0 (park assist removal), were you asked or requested from the dealer to remove that option to get a quicker build?
I’ve heard that if you remove it or remove that constraint it will get built quicker -however I have that option ordered on my king ranch and I would like to keep that on my order.
So my question, I was just curious were you contacted and asked to remove it or did you remove it upon yourself to get a quicker Build?
Thanks

No, I didn't opt for park assist. There is some speculation out there that it can be a hold up, though I just didn't want it. If I can't park it then I shouldn't be driving it. Same goes for my wife. :)
Thanks for your reply and information on this, I have a king ranch ordered and it’s pretty well loaded up with options and I did want the copilot 360 active 2.0 and the active park assist.
I have yet to receive a VIN, however I do not want any of my options removed -I’ll just wait it out.
Enjoy your ride

A trim level change would be a new order from what I understand.

The APA, Multi Contour seats, and Max recline seats were all force deleted by Ford on our Platinum with 701A.
Ford supposedly made these deletions on all open unscheduled orders on May 9th.

My dealer has never contacted me our sent any forms to sign off on the deleted options.

Below is the Memo from Ford on the Forced Option deletions.

  • F-150 Auto Start/Stop
  • Active Park Assist 2.0
  • Multi-Contour Seats with Active Motion

Raptor Interior Change (801A)
In addition, please be advised that due to these supplier shortages, Ford will be making in-cycle interior applique changes for the 22MY F-150 Raptor 801A. The appearance difference is the result of our need to execute an in-cycle supplier change to sustain F-150 Raptor 801A production so customers can receive their vehicles sooner. The effective date for this in-cycle change is May 6th, 2022. All units produced prior to this date will feature the current Coined Aluminum Applique. All units produced after this date will feature the Light Oil Rubbed Film Applique. Please note that the Light Oil Rubbed Film Applique is currently used on the 22MY F-150 Raptor 800A. The Carbon Fiber Applique is still optional on 801A and is not effected by this change. The impacted parts include the following:
  • Driver Side Door Panel Applique, Passenger Side Door Panel Applique, Driver Side Vent Bezel, Left Hand Cluster Bezel, Right Hand Cluster Bezel, Upper Glovebox Door, Passenger Side Vent Bezel

Thanks for your quick reply, so I’m just curious and also I guess worrisome about my options and order. I’m hoping that my truck doesn’t get built without certain options that I chose. You may not have this information but can Ford take upon themselves to delete options on my Dealer pre-ordered Customer order without my consent.

And what is “ all open Unscheduled orders”?
Thanks again for the info and clarification.

If you don’t have a VIN then your truck is unscheduled.
