Friday. When I arrived and asked to speak to the Sales Manager (I call him the wizard since he sits behind a Plexiglas curtain), he pulled by file, looked at the terminal, and came out to see me. First words from his mouth 'six more months'. Yes, we both chuckled. Still in Columbia SC. I seem to be on day 10 of the 21 day hold at the railyard. At least on all the other steps since VIN, I felt I could get something of interest at least once a week. Railyard hold is hell. Absolutely nothing can be done about it. I'll stop by later this week, been keeping busy with catching up on real 'work'.

I've dealt with railroads on road and bridge projects. I believe they'd even put God on hold. Most frustrating group of people to work with.

Waiting a month+ to ship after being built is unacceptable. Ford needs to fix this

According to the new update I got, it will be right around 7 weeks from built to actual start of transit. We will see, but as of now I’m completely deflated. AC compressor is out on my 2016 and my tires are on their last leg.

Truck is at the dealership. They are getting it prepped and will be calling as soon as it is ready to be picked up. Doesn't seem like this would ever happen.

Not so bad. We were on wait for 2+ hours with TreasuryDirect yesterday due to a stupid spelling account lockdown.

Thanks, I was surprised how fast they moved it once it was at the yard. It took a little over 2 weeks to get from Dearborn to Wilmington DE. They offloaded it and delivered within 72hrs.

Also, day 10 (or 11) at the rail yard. This sucks.

They picked mine from Dixiana to the dealer at about day 19. The dealer took two days to prep.

Once I found out that they would blow out my delivery to the end of the window, I got busy doing something else. I'm not sure what I did, but I stopped looking for the updates and it helped the time pass.

In addition, the very first indication that I got that the truck was at the dealer was the Ford Status update showed that the "shipped" radio button was filled in and vehicle was in "final preparation."

Nothing happens very quickly down here and little sense of urgency.

Hang in there. It will be over soon.

I really appreciate you for understanding! I double-checked with our resources, and it shows it was shipped via Convoy # 1737818 (Hansen And Adkins Auto Transport) Ramp 4F, Dixiana, SC as of 5/2/22. It is an estimated delivery date of 5/6/22 showing right at this moment. This is an estimated date shown on our end, so this can change (I hope not, though).
