I had my oil changed at 5k (5,103) and have put less than 2k on the truck since then. It is saying my oil life is at 48%. I drove a small trailer <3000 for 600 miles, but otherwise nothing special. Is this a sensor system to check oil "life" or is it really mileage based.
I bought them off of Amazon (sides also) so that all the Greenies in Ann Arbor don't bitch at my 6.5 bed. Ironically, I am kind of one as our other car is a Tesla M3 ( I don't bitch at others unless they try to ICE me).
Going to go through Granger to get ESP (8/150k, we keep our vehicles). Still debating on the deductible. As I see it, with the $50 deductible, you have to go 9 times before you lose out. Seems like the way to go. Thoughts?
I have been out of the country for a few weeks, but on April 23 I received notice that my truck had shipped. Finally got to the dealer on 5/23 that my truck has been delivered. I am now trying to get an appointment to get the truck. I can't even get anything except notices that they are...
According to a buddy that at Ford is management for truck builds, every truck built has a customer name (with ID) attached. Those trucks are where customers changed their mind. I ordered from one dealer, joined this group and found out about those selling at a discount and reordered.
Thursday (5/8) I confirmed my truck was on a rail car at 1:09am. It is now Sunday and the train has made it less than halfway. No way I can get the truck end of this week even if it makes it to dealership by Wednesday (doubtful) as traveling out of country. I get back Friday of Memorial...
Appreciate it.
Although dealer would not give me rail car, Chat did with no problem. I called NS and got an update. Hard to hear exact location, but there was a scan in Ohio at 1:06am today (5/6). Now the question is how long to get to Wilmington and then to Chapman.
Did your WS say Convoy? Mine does, but looks like it just got sent to a rail yard. I am now in a real crunch for time. I leave on 5/14 for 3 weeks in South Africa. I was supposed to use the truck move my kid from college on 5/11.
Also, I forgot, how did you track on the train. I know it is...
Just for kicks (and self torture), I went on Chat and asked if my truck had actually shipped since I got the "Shipped" email or was it really just in the same spot as when I got the "Built" email. I was told: "Yes it shipped to Melvindale and is on a ramp." Melvindale is only about 2 miles...
So I went to the palsapp site and found the one line hack. Entered Vin and it shows up but does not really show anything except "origin" "Freight Bill" "Vin" and "Status" (pending). Makes me think it is still sitting on ramp.
