I recieved a settlement my lawyer called it a cash and keep offer.

Mine was maiy for a faulty front camera that took 6 months and about 6 dealer visits to finally fix and not due to the shudder.
Same issue here. Dealer failed to diagnose/fix an issue that was apparent and blatantly obvious. I didn’t EFF around and called a lawyer same day. Within 6 hours the dealer was allocating me a new truck, and bought back my 2021. I now have a 2022 XLT that is much better but still has the weird idle “vibration”.

What’s crazy is that Ford knows my last truck had an issue, and within a day the dealer put that truck back up for sale. Hopefully nobody buys it. I have zero faith in this truck, nor Ford. Once my credit levels out, I’m out of this truck.

My 2021 Powerboost 4x4 6.5 bed all stock suspension and wheels is at 7000 miles and either we've got used to it or the transmission has smoothed out. It definitely is different depending on what drive mode I'm in. Eco is a bit noticeable, sport is locked on in each gear with it's higher shift rev points. Normal is in between the two but you can feel the transmission is there. It's not buttery smooth like our , Escalade but the Escalade and the Yukon Denali both needed transmission work by ,50,000 miles luckily under powertrain warranty.

For what it’s worth…. Right after I left the dealership I experienced the drivetrain vibration at low RPMs under load in 9th and 10th gear, and it would slam into 5th gear usually the first time through the gears when the trans was cold. I never brought it in because I really just didn’t have the time. I now have just over 10,000 miles on my 21 xlt Crew with the 3.5 eco and within the past 3,000 miles I’d say it has improved significantly. The only thing I have been doing different is i have been starting it remotely and letting it warm up longer than normal due to the frigid cold temps here the last 2 months. I still occasionally get the shudder when I get on it to pass someone. But it seems to only happens when the transmission isn’t fully up to normal temperature yet. It almost seems (At least from my experience with this truck) it just took a long while to break in, and theses transmissions don’t like to run cold. but I am happy with it now. I know it might not be the same experience for everyone, but for those of you fighting through it there’s hope for improvement.

I picked up a 3.5 ecoboost on 2/28. Has around 300 miles on it. I’m noticing when I’m barely on the throttle and between the 8th and 10th gear there is a shudder in the transmission. Almost like driving over a rumble strip but not as quite pronounced. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Yes. I have videos of this shutter.

It does it above 50 MPH under slight load due to acceleration or uphill driving. Most noticeable when I allow the lane centering to resume while driving at 50-51.

Is this an easy way to reproduce your symptom?

My 2.7 has been shuddering between 55 to 65 for while now. I only have 2800 miles on mine. I spoke to a fellow F150 owner who had the same same problem and the shudder on his truck went away on its own. He said that he could explain as he did not do anything to it; his truck has 15000 miles though. I got the recall notice for the heat shield, I will be asking my dealer to take a look at the shudder as they have transmission tech there.

Sorry to hear your problem. So far my PB is so smooth can barely tell it changes gears. Smoothest vehicle I’ve ever owned

I can feel it in the steering wheel and accelerator pedal. I have 17K Miles. So far 2 trips to service and they can not find it.

Mine has a slight vibration in the steering wheel and I guess the gas pedal when I start to get on it at highway speeds. It seems to shift just fine up and down, really no complaints there. But when it starts making boost its when i feel it. Not sure if its normal behavior or not, as I don't recall what my 2.7 felt like and this is the 3.5. I typically drive like a grandma, so i don't really notice it. I think I have around 1800 miles on it.

Because they are by far the worst motor company I’ve ever purchased from. I already had one dealer buy back due to a shit transmission and vehicle vibrations, and I’m already working with a lawyer to start my second one. On top of that, they clearly don’t track their product and it’s issues because my dealer buy back was flipped back for sale at the dealer within 12 hours KNOWING IT HAD AN ISSUE.

Oh I would bet the dealer was fully aware of the issue and didn't care.

Update on my truck

1. In a prior post I provided video of rough idling and truck shut off 1 week prior to my 4th repair attempt on transmission. Truck was taken to dealer they had it 3 days. They found stored codes for rough idle and Powerboost unavailable. The dealership didn’t repair or try any repairs as they said they couldn’t replicate the codes and they had to experience the issues and catch the codes simultaneously to know what to repair.I picked the truck up and brought it home.

2. Last Monday took truck for 3rd official repair attempt. 1st attempt was turn away because they didn’t have a transmission tech on staff and didn’t give me paperwork so they don’t count that as an appointment???. So this was actually the 4th transmission repair attempt.

Dealer did nothing. Informed me all their test were normal. Same dealer that had in their shop a month ago and the tech and shop manager both drove And experienced the issue. I called them out and told them I have the Ford pass App so I can see when they open the truck and if it was driven. Immediate back peddling and their story changed.
Then they say they meant for me to bring the truck to the appointment with my boat attached, have a tech ride with me and feel the shudder while under load. They said I told them it’s worse under load so that’s why they want to feel it while towing. I did say that but it happens without a trailer attached also.

4 weeks ago I was told they were engaging and bringing in a Ford engineer to be part of the team to work on the truck, nothing about needed to to bring a trailer attached. I was told I had to wait for 4 weeks between repair attempts, to arrange a rental due to “shortage of rental cars” and for them to work with for engineers. The rental car piece turned out to be BS. I asked the Hertz guy they sent me to and he said they’ve had cars on lot for rental for months now. Just another excuse.

I digress ….Picked truck up the next day and told them I could come early Wednesday, Thursday or this coming Tuesday. I followed up twice before leaving town yesterday…zero response from dealer.

I have said it before, life long F150 owner and hands down worst customer service I’ve had in my life with a vehicle, completely inept is the best I can describe.

The ford pass app is what saved me on a nightmare. Dealership essentially took my truck for multiple joyrides. Service tech used it over the weekend, and then they returned it to me saying no issues and it never left the lot. Showed them the MULTIPLE screen shots of the door being opened, GPS parked positions, and mileage before and after. Presented them with photos, and my attorneys business card. Within minutes they initiated a buy back and allocated me a new 2022.
