It's a pretty small world in car manufacturing. We had Ford, chrysler, volkswagen and mitsubishi in management. One of our engineers went into the plant management training at Ford and last I heard he ended up running the jeep plant in Belvidere before he retired.

We're lucky the trucks make it out the door without getting lost.

This is the guy I was talking about. I didn't know he started at gm, in 89 he was an engineer in the body shop at Mitsubishi.

Well, dealer told me in an email yesterday that my truck was built but waiting on a chip. Who knows.

Picking mine up from dealer tomorrow. Pretty excited to finally have it after being rolled from 21' to '22 although the extra incentives were great.

If you don't mind me asking, what incentives did you receive. I rolled a '21 order to a '22 but I changed dealers because my original one stopped taking X plan. Thanks in advance.

I got the same message this morning as always. It just says, "Dearborn, a Freight Bill number, the VIN, and Pending."
