Maybe it was just the way the light hit things today, but after 3 months of 2021 F150 Lariat ownership, I just noticed this, what look like stress fractures (you have to look for it, but several parallel lines just below the Pro Trailer knob) on the trim piece just below the radio. Anyone else notice this?

My employer is BIG in injection molded plastics, that's flow lines. I have a similar "grain" on my XL. Doubt if any dealer is going to give a rats behind about it.

who cares what they call it. If my business was having those parts made I would reject every one of them.

LOL then your company wouldn't ship many products. I agree in principal, but reality is another matter. It is just part of the process. It's like when we paint those plastic parts, we have to have a a certain amount of orange peel. ANY is too much in my opinion, but then the part won't match the crappy paint job the manufacture gives the rest of the auto.

I would want them to order me another trim piece. I would install myself so that Mr. Gigantor Smash Hands, wouldn't be tearing apart my dash.

My Lariat has them too but they start a little past the pro trailer knob and extend about 6" towards the screen. I noticed them a couple of months ago. I am not sure if they have been there since I got the truck in July. I assumed it was a minor assembly flaw and am not concerned about it.
