Cost me 25$. Hard to say how much it saved as I did not negotiate but my MSRP was $75,295 and X-plan got it for 69,800.

How much did the membership cost? Do you also remember how much the “X” plan saved you?
X Plan pricing is really hard to get right now. Very few dealers will let you buy a car off their lot at X Plan. Only about half the dealers in my area will even accept X Plan orders.

If you or your family members work for a large nation wide company, it might be a listed company that is listed with Ford as a business they associate with. Just search for Ford Xplan company list. I had a career with Xerox and so I can buy using X plan by supplying proof of my years there before retiring. I also bought a new generation Ram Rebel in 2018 using similar "friends and family" discount with Chrysler. Xerox leased cars from the big 3 mfgrs for decades for service vehicles.

My neighbor was a Ford employee and that’s how I got the x-plan pricing. My dealer wouldn’t give me my private offer and x-plan pricing so I called Ford marketing department that sent me the private offer. They told me the dealer could contact their zone manager and get this approved and lock in my incentive. If ordering I will get the best offer available. The GM thought I was crazy at first but said he does have a zone manager. He did as I suggested and got it approved with the zone manager. X-plan and private offer is $8,500 off msrp (Lariat 501a) and I’m waiting for my MY22 to come in. It might be a while but worth the wait for the discount!

Well shoot i’m out of luck because i just read that you must be a member for at least 90 days prior to being eligible to use the discount.

Yes. This is a change. I purchased mine in February and they didn't have this requirement. Also, trucks were in much greater supply so the dealer took the X-plan price without blinking.
When you get the x-plan pricing you can go to a website where you can look at any truck for sale or even build your one and it will show you the retail and x-line prices for each, even down the individual options. Pretty cool!

The 90 Day rule has been around for a long time. Some dealers just don't pay attention to the join date. Ford does have a decent amount of paperwork that they have to do for x-plan so most dealers are on top of making sure you are indeed eligible.

You can also purchase 100 Ford Stock, however there is a 6 month waiting period on that. Keep in mind for down the road. https://s23.q4cdn.com/799033206/files/doc_downloads/Ford-Shareholder-Application-11-5-20.pdf

Actually, now that I remember, the dealer did ask for evidence that I had been a member for some time after the purchase. They seemed a bit nervous about getting it.

Or - order from Granger, Chapman, or Koons and get better than X plan pricing. If you don't want to travel to pick it up, have it shipped by United https://www.unitedroad.com/delivery-receipt.

Still cheaper than X plan.
