12/13 Build Week

Mine has now been "released to body company" per the dealer. Can anyone confirm what this means?

I assume that’s the spray in bed liner etc etc…

UPDATED - Modules Populated 12/18/21. It looks like some of us are generally getting Modules populated 3 days after the scheduled build date if everything goes as planned.

Ctrl + Shift + J to open the developer tool, then navigate to "network" tab. then look up your VIN in palsapp, you will see the response as shown in the picture.

@Steeler I feel ya, bud. It's like I was fine being in ignorant bliss until that email came and then I was hooked. I was actually going to cancel my order because I originally spec'd a 2021 on 10/5 bc of the 72mo 0% APR deal they had. The order was accepted and then they called me 2 weeks later saying that the 2021 run was closed and I'd have to be transferred to a 2022. I said ok, but I wanted to go ahead and lock into the 0% deal and they said no dice, that offer was only for the MY2021. I explained that wasn't my fault and they should still honor it and nothing I could find said it was only for 2021 and they said they don't make the rules and that's the way it works. So I told them cancel the order. They didn't and even called me to tell me that Ford picked up the revised 2022 order about the time I got the email saying the same from FMC on 11/12 telling me I had an 11/29 build week. Hook, line, sinker. I told the dealer I'd still take the truck but I'd be financing myself and not giving a dime more to Ford using Ford financing. Here we are stressing over this crappy, but untested tech (trackers, etc.) riddled with supply chain issues hoping for a Christmas miracle. Sure it's first world stuff but I still don't think they should keep their ordering customers hanging like this. It's supposed to be an experience, especially dropping this amount of money. It's about more than just the vehicle. I realize these are strange times but man this is sloppy. Sorry for the soapbox. I've just spent an inordinate amount of time commiserating with you fine folks. ?

@Csummerhays that's what I'm talking about. Like, how does it work? I was playing close attention to other users with trucks coming off the line and their specs trying to determine a pattern specifically that would require chips; advanced features. I have a lariat spec'd with pretty much every option under the sun and thought ok, a truck with less tech and hence less chips would likely roll off earlier but we aren't seeing that. So what the hell is happening? Like the UPS guy shows up with a box of chips and whatever is on the line that day gets em until they're gone while others that are waiting stay there? Like you said it seems pretty arbitrary. I keep thinking maybe I should be happy that Ford is doing this to keep my mind occupied. ?

I have a similar problem. I ordered because of the 0%/72 mths. My order was moved to a MY truck. Originally, the dealer said the 0% was locked in, then said it is not. We will see when it finally gets to the dealer. The dealer may have a truck to add to his current slim pickings. He will if 0%/72 or 60 mths isn't available.

Interesting. I got my activate button a couple days ago; but yesterday my dealer said my truck hadn't been released (shipped) yet. Maybe it was waiting for a train ?‍

You should have the MY conversion benefit of the 0%/72 or $3500 PCO. I thought they were adding those to everyone's account who had an existing 21 resubmitted as a 22.

Update on my truck. Modules have populated, activate button is showing on the Ford Pass App, and the PalApp Vehicle Status is Paired. My dealership is closed on the weekends now, so I'll call salesman on Monday, but I expect it should be there early next week. I have to say, I have received zero emails from Ford during this process which is quite disappointing. I'm not sure if my sales guy messed something up, or if Ford's system is that hit and miss, but I've had to call the salesman/hunt around on these forums to find any answers on the status of a purchase of over $60,000. I'm Michigan boy, so Ford is in my blood, but I'm very embarrassed for the company. They are trying to move a majority of their new vehicle sales to custom orders now. Can you imagine what a train wreck this is going to be for those who have much less patience than us? I have been in the IT Field for 20+ years and I can tell you that I'd be fired if I allowed an application as important as the Vehicle Order Tracking to go this long in a broken state. This kind of alludes that they have it broken on purpose (to keep you in the dark), which makes me even more angry. You need to fix this Ford or you are going to lose a bunch of loyal customers.

My vehicle status is paired as of this morning and has my Dealer Destination Info listed. Looking like she might show up on the lot today! Interesting thing though, it still doesn't show any modules on the as-built site. Not sure what to make of that?

I don’t. But since it’s the first date populated, my guess would be that it means Assigned possibly?? Seems like this gets populated as soon as the truck goes into production.

I'm not eligible for the PCO $3500. I'm using the A Plan. Private offers are not allowed with A Plan. However the 0% financing is fine with A Plan.
