Nothing behind the seats in mine, just the trim for the seat belt retractor with a hard plastic pocket.

There's just the door speakers, the a-pillar speakers and a single speaker grille in the center of the dash. So five makes sense.

There are other little speaker or mic. grilles in the headliner above the driver and above the rear view mirror that must be noise cancellation for the hands-free phone and voice command systems. I know that the speaker phone is excellent and the best I have experienced between newer Honda/Acura and Toyota cars.
i know if you detail out on the Ford site when building it says that 101A gives you the 10 speaker B&O Speaker system, but it’s a misprint. It’d be fun fitting 10 speakers inside a standard cab unless all were coaxials and they put 2 tweeters in the A pillars

Only the door speakers and pillar tweeters, Planning on installing some component speakers and an amp soon or maybe even a center console like this one that I had made for my Silverado single cab.

Does it sound "ok" ? I used to be a headbanger back in my youth maybe that explains partial deafness... hmmm. Anyway I still occasionally like to crank up a good 80's rock song so I figure at the least a speaker upgrade.

The stock radio in the single cab leaves much to be desired lol.

That's kind of what I figured. I'm in the middle of corn country here and not a lot of installers around let alone good ones.

I missed the console before. That has possibilities. Where did you have it made?

So far they are completely unavailable from Toyota and Nissan in the US, no midsize trucks are available from Chevy or Ford, even though Ranger comes in regular cab in some foreign markets.

I think only Ford still offers regular cab short beds and Dodge has a long bed regular cab. With Chevy threatening to bring back their shortbed reg. cab.
Im currently in the UK and currently only pickup Ford offers is the Ranger. They do offer it in a standard cab XL trim level with only a 130 and 170hp diesel with a six speed manual (no slush boxes). It’s a stripper model with very few options. They do offer a Super and Double cab trucks that have all sorts of different packages/trim level (including a Raptor), but it appears each truck uses same frame as more doors added, shorter bed you get, same engines but can get a slush box with them. Neither Toyota or Nissan offer a standard cab. Rams have a very limited dealer network in southern part of country and are 4 door only. Chevrolet doesn’t sell a truck here, only right hand drive Corvettes.

What is gas selling for in the UK at the moment? Seems $3.55 a gallon around here is the ridiculous norm.

Guess that explains all the public transportation options over there. Not a lot of them here in corn country.

Yea, lots of busses and trains, but they ain’t cheap if You gotta go any distance

Over here it’s mainly cars with manual transmissions and lot have diesels. Actually, if you take your driving test with an automatic car, your license is marked “AUTO ONLY”, meaning its illegal to drive a stick car

pickups are mainly replaced by transport vans and cargo box pickups. They actually sell bedless Rangers

So since a lot of us have ordered our 22's is there going to be any kind of pool going around on when we can actually build and price one ourselves? (Just to see if we missed anything.)

Kind of frustrating to see some of the items on the 21 build and price and then you order and oops it's separate on the 22's
I kind of feel like i paid $695 for the led bed lighting! lol

I was pleasantly surprised today when I was messing around on the build and price and saw the contact ford options, called and in a short period of time I was talking to an actual person.

Who knew that would happen in this day and age. He didn't say where he was located but it wasn't Michigan because I said I was getting a little snow flurry today and the guy said it didn't snow where he was.

I was just trying to get some answers on the items I put on my order vs what the 21 build and price and 22 order guide say.

He seemed to think that the 22 remote start will still have the tailgate release with the dampening. Hmm I added the viscous dampening on my 22 order. I wonder if I gave ford extra money for nothing? I took everything said with a grain of salt though. Hopefully it will be like a 2 month late xmas gift when the truck gets here!

can always try swapping the speakers out for some good ones. Did that to a friends Bronco ( big style) and it made huge difference in sound quality
