My xlt is scheduled to be built Nov 8th so I’m not even sure if I’d be able to add it to my built but what is everyone’s thoughts on co-pilot assist 2.0 ? I already have the included co-pilot 2.0. Not sure if it’s worth the $1250 Canadian.

Yes, it's like Tesla's Autopilot, except it prompts you much more frequently. I have no regrets over getting mine.

The collision prevention feature, was annoying at first. Both in Mustang and this truck. So I turned them off.

Now, I am paranoid if I don't have them on. I feel like if I wreck and didn't have those on, I'd just regret it for years wondering if the feature would have actually prevented a rear ender, etc.

The lane keeping is a lain. I usually keep that off. I find myself pulling left a little against it, and it begins to wear on my forearm. I use it here and there, but sparingly.

The auto cruise control is great tho.

The blind spot monitoring, also great, wouldn't want to be without it.

The cross traffic, I find I don't need it, I'm usually taller than any car I am trying to back out from between and can see well enough. But I like that it's there.

I suppose you have to determine how much peace if mind is worth to you.

And then, factor in a deductible for Insurance and future insurance hikes for an accident. If your deductible is say 1000, and that's what you'd pay for a rear ender, and the option for the 360 cost 1250... I mean you need to weigh it, plus the peace of mind, plus the added features.

Also, you can't finance a major repair and inconvenience. The option, you can finance for like 7 years if you want. What is it, 18 bucks extra a month for the features and peace of mind?

Adaptive cruise in stop and go traffic is a Godsend. Lane keep is nice to have on long trips although it’s not as good in this as it was in my Genesis. I’d say worth the money
Well I guess I’ll see if im even able to add it in, given that my truck is scheduled to be built 2 weeks from now .
Thanks

Once a VIN is assigned, you cannot make changes. At least that's how I understand it.

Okay makes sense, to be honest I haven’t received a vin from my dealer, they emailed me about a month ago saying my truck was scheduled for the week of nov 8th.

Worth it. BLIS a necessity with many drivers changing and weaving lanes to save seconds. Adaptive cruise is also great. Don't use lane centering much in the county with dirt roads. Wish I had front bumper sensors. Did not come with my Lariat 502A and thought it did. Use the front camera instead. Also, my insurance dropped $7 per month from the 2010 FX4 to a 2021 Lariat due to the safety features.

I wish we were a little closer with the adaptive cruise I can always spot the guy who is going to try and shoot the gap between me and car in front of me.

I wonder why you don't have front sensors... I have 502A and I have them.

Has something to due with what options were ordered with the 502A. There is a thread on that somewhere.

Copilot 2.0 is absolutely worth it, to me.
I'd pay double for the feature, even.
Adaptive cruise is a game changer for someone like me who does a LOT of highway driving on two-lane highways packed with semi trucks clogging the passing lane.
The curve control is a little annoying at times. The first day I had my truck I though it needed an alignment, but turns out the truck wanted to be in the center of the lane and I guess I like to hug the outside of the lane. So me and the steering wheel were fighting the whole time.

Same here. Can't be good for tires. Having never had that feature before I did not know why it was doing that at first but now I turned it off.
