8/2 Build Week

All praise to the flying spaghetti monster, my truck moved from in production to BUILT on Friday night!

Ford's estimated ETA is 10/8 to 10/14. So I'm going to lose my PCO but maybe just maybe I can get 0% still.

Has anyone heard of anybody having success getting financing, paperwork, and payment done before the truck actually ARRIVES at the dealer. If it gets to the 4th and my truck is only in transit, what's the odds of getting the dealer to go ahead and "sell" me the truck in paper only?

Read the small print on your PCO exclusive cash reward. Mine says "Place order or take new retail delivery from an authorized Ford or Lincoln Dealer's stock by 9/30/21". That is two different sets of conditions. Are you waiting for a vehicle you placed an order for by 9/30/21. Best wishes for a positive outcome with a dealer working for their customer.

I’m in Canada so I don’t get the same tracker the US orders get. I can only use the Forum tracker and the MachE. I talk to my dealer weekly…still on chip hold.

Want to share my experience with locking in a PCO on an order as I just went through this Saturday. Truck isn’t here yet (hopefully this week,) but went into dealer to go over everything so there would not be any surprises. I ordered on 5/24 and received the PCO on 8/13 in the mail. They pulled everything up and it showed the PCO was not eligible with the first pass at the paperwork. This ended up being because they were locking incentives in from the order date. When they changed to locking in on Saturdays date (9/25,) the PCO and the current incentives available now were allowed. So the PCO does have an issuance date that is affected by your order date. Going to be heading back to the dealer to nail everything down in the next couple of days and they are not saying the truck has to be here in order to write everything up. So I would think of you have a good dealer, they will work with you on locking if the vehicle is in transit and expected to arrive in the next couple of weeks.
With regard to the tracking of the vehicle on rail, the CSX tracking system I found in another post did not work for me. It said the same thing every time I checked. Best resource was my dealer or Ford performance for checking on rail progress. I’ll update once delivered to see if the CSX system eventually changed when it was delivered.
Glad to see movement is happening and that the Chewbacca icon is a thing. Maybe we need to pass it to the other build dates. ?

Hopefully Ford and your dealer work with you for mutually beneficial outcomes - Customer satisfaction in light of various disappointments; Ford and Dealer(s) ability to document completed sales in current quarter for their statistical benefit.
Regarding Rail tracking comments described above - my delivery path was from Dearborn, MI (then west) to Salt Lake City, UT. Five days later truck delivery was made to Idaho Falls, ID. I used the CSX phone tracking method all the way (CSX and Union Pacific systems) and it worked well for me. I had one day of same location till next morning, which appeared to be rail car reconfiguration transfers at a large Rail Yard in Nebraska.

Looked at the rail tracking instructions closer and realized I was looking at the wrong side of the Mississippi. So I tried the Union Pacific trace line and it said the car was empty. When I was at the dealer Saturday, it was pretty close according to the VVR. When yours was finally left the rail transport, did it say the rail car was empty?

Rail car number for my truck reported at Roper Yard, UT on 9/9 at 3:48 PM (all times are listed as CSX time which is Eastern time zone). Next morning reported same information - salesman contacted and he said he would let me know when he got truck movement and he called me early on 9/14. Truck arrived at dealer late afternoon of 9/14.
