XLT trucks with push button start cup holder/ambient lighting

I did this mod about a year ago (with excellent support and help by @JHForman812 )but now only having about one and half of the cup holders light up ie looks like about half the ring on 1 cup holder doesn't like. Really weird as I thought there was only 1 light ring around the 2 cup holders. Anyone else have this happen?

The light ring is 1 piece but there are 2 lights that light it all up. It sounds like one of your LEDs died.

Thanks John for quick reply. I was afraid of that answer. Looks like I will need to reorder the part and replace it.

Looks like -E is the media bin light. -F is the connector to the ring. You think I just need the - E light/connector not the conductor ring- right?

-C is media bin -E is cup holders unless ford has changed part numbers.

@JHForman812 Completed the mod yesterday, but having an issue. The front foot well & media bin light works, but no cup holder lights or rear foot well. Double checked everything was connected. Doubled checked FORScan. My truck is a 21. Any help is greatly appreciated!

On my ‘22 XLT the rear foot wells have no wires going to them from the factory harness. On my passenger side rear there was a plug for the footwell light. My drivers side rear had nothing to plug into. But even though my passenger rear footwell had a connector there were no wires going to the seat connector from the main harness under the seats. Cup holder lights should come on when connected to @JHForman812 harness. You might send him a pic to show how you have it connected.

Explain to me how you have it wired? It sounds like you connected the media bin harness to the wrong spot. Sounds like you have it in line with your cup holder? if thats the case it will kill the cup holder and the rear lights.

Finally had the time to complete / correct my error from my first attempt of this mod. I’ve had all the parts since August. Much thanks to @JHForman812 for his help and for the harness, which is a work of Art! I went a little farther with the lights and used regular LEDS in the doors that match the Ford color very closely if not exactly. I had also gotten the F150leds.com coaster lights a while back and moved them to the rear cup holder on the center console. Blacked out the “XLT” that was on them because it was too bright. Very happy with the outcome.
Heated steering wheel might be next on the agenda.

Do you know the color of the leds you got for doors that match factory color.
