his will be a little different, he has no open connectors like yours did. hes gonna make 2 connections plus the ground.
Sorry then. There is a good post in the thread that lays out the detail for that combination.

Finally added the lighted cupholder to the ambient light mod. Really pleased with the look on my lowly XLT 302a. Will say was a little nervous essentially dismantling the whole console. Happy to report I didn't snap any of the 6 bolts! Shutout to @JHForman812 who made this happen.

Im impatienly waiting for everything i ordered off ebay to come in so i can get started on mine. Mainly the cupholder so i only have to take the console apart one time.

Is there really a difference on the rear lights? Seems the front passenger has a different plug but the others all look the same. Im having a hard time finding the ones for the rear.

John or others will need to answer. I didn't do the back seats as on my XLT there is a blue light that comes from the back of the console that is sufficient for the whole back seat IMHO.

The mod is one of those that took a long time at least for me but if I had to do it again on another truck I could do in less than half the time.

of all the floor lights the drivers side is a different color/key connector. the light will have a male connector, the passenger side will be black female, the rear under seat lights will be male black.

So could any replace any others? Like would the front driver work for the rear seats?

Im thinking no.. just want to be sure.

No they can’t. You could shave the keying off the gray(drivers side) light when you get it and connect it but direct swap without modification no

Anyone know what all parts I will need for my 2023 xlt?
Not sure about 2023 XLT. My 2022 XLT which had connectors for front footwells

ML3Z-1513562-CB full cup holder assembly

+OEM footwell lamp part numbers
ML3Z-14A318-J(front driver)
ML3Z-14A411-B(front passenger)

Also if you want, others did these two as well. I didn't do these.
ML3Z-14A318-C Media bin light
ML3Z-14A411-C Glove box light

Will need harness and jumpers from JHForman812. However will need to check with him if 2023 changes things significantly.

Good luck. I'm really happy with mine.

Do you know where I can look to see if I have the connectors?

I am pretty sure with a 23 you won't have the connectors - but @JHForman812 will have to confirm. He does have a different harness and jumpers I believe for this situation.

@jlandry just a few post up I believe didn't have connectors but with John's help is on his way.

Posts 1,8,39,44 have pictures of the connectors which u won't likely have. I do think all the parts I posted above you will still need but you will have to run one of John's harness to each spot for the lights to plug into.

If you’re a 23 PTS you most likely won’t have the connectors, it was hit and miss on the 22 trucks, so most likely permanently gone on 23. I do make a harness that allows you to add them in.

2023 truck here. Build date of 8/23. My truck didn’t have the connectors. Got with @JHForman812 on the harness for floor lights front and rear, glove box, and media bin. Made my connections like it says to in the thread here and they wouldn’t work. Ended up double checking the forscan settings and resetting the 2 modules that control the ambient lights. BCM and APIM I think. Once that was done everything worked as it should. I’ve seen some things saying that ambient lighting won’t work on the 23s. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get them to work but they do. Now I just need to find the drivers and rear lights and I’ll be good to go. Now I want the little button light for my door panels. If anyone upgraded to the ones with the lower lights and wants to rehome the ones with just the upper. LMK.

Sweet - looks good. I only did the front footwells and the cupholder, as didn't think I wanted the media and glove box lights. However now that I footwells and cupholder done and see yours kinda wish I did the glove box.

Beyond me that Ford doesnt include ambient lighting at the price points of these trucks.
