No they are not all in the APIM.
726 is the BCM
7D0 is the APIM

You need to look at the spreadsheet but I would say you should do the same thing. John is just stating confirm by checking the sheet.

This was my changes for 2022 XLT

success! I was getting hung up because I thought the jumper socket was supposed to be super tight once installed just like the rest of them in the connector, I guess that’s what the red faceplate was for as John mentioned. I just did the foot wells and cup holder.

The most stressful part was waiting two months for the driver side light to finally come in. I thought I would never receive it.

Question about the glove box light. My '21 302A already has a light in the glove box. Is the part number for glove box light in post #1 a more blue colored light like the rest of the ambient lighting or is it just something to add if you don't already have a glove box light? I mean I already ordered and have it but want to make sure before I jump in to the project. Thanks!

The glovebox light is more yellow-ish/warm tone, not blue!

Just went out and snapped a few pics. Got the footwell lights in earlier today. Was going to tackle the rest this weekend. My truck definitely already has glove box light in it. Do most trucks already have?

There you go haha! No not all of them, 2021s have them, they removed them from the 2022+.

Thanks for the quick reply! Well I have a glove box light available then if anyone needs! I know a lot of these lights can take a while to get from Ford dealers.

A successful install on a 2021. I did the footwells and the cup holder. I had @JHForman812 add a connector for the media bin, but I changed my mind at the last minute. The only thing I would have done differently in hindsight would be to skip the color change.

Your lights are able to change colors?

Yes. As I understand it, it’s only available in the ‘21s. Also, you have to buy different LEDs which are more expensive.

I've been wanting to do this ambient light project for a while. I finally got around to looking in the footwells and saw that I do have the connector on the driver's side.

I've done a few things in forscan already. I apologize if this has been asked and answered already. So, it's just a matter of plugging the lights into the footwell and changing the settings in forscan? Is it the same for the cup holder? I kept seeing Jumper brought up and was a little confused.

I want to do the cup holder and footwells for now and maybe tackle the rear ambient lights and media bin later. I'll call my local dealer tomorrow and see what they say. They always ask for my vin number when I ask about parts so hopefully when I just say the part number they dont ask for my vin number cause my truck doesn't have the footwell lights.
