XLT key start trucks lighted cup holders.

Ok guys this is about the last thing I have to offer to the community lol. This isnt anything spectacular but they give the guys without amibient lighting an option thats not the lighted rechargeable coaster things, im not knocking them but they arent for me. What I have done is made a harness with LEDs that goes into the factory lighted cup holders part number ML3Z-1513562-CB My harness/LEDs will plug into the console light and the cup holders will be lit up. the cup holders will not be dimmable unless you want to install a dimmer thats up to you and will be on you. The cup holders arent as bright as they look in this picture, I think the rubber inserts would knock down some of the brightness but I dont have a set of the inserts for an F150. I am still searching for an exact match LED to the factory stuff, the lights in this picture are called Ice blue but they are more blue than the normal interior lights. with that said since you guys dont have floor lights, you can make this any color you want(id have to order different color LEDs). these are hooked to my super duty console light and are not actually mounted in the console currently. so thats why you see all the light around the edges. once mouned in a console that light wont be visible.

Looks good. I'm not fond of the teal color the F150 defaults to. I keep the RGB units in the MME blue blue, but still looks ice blue. I have ice blue in my doors and under the rear seats in the 150. I'd love to swap factory teal to ice blue myself, but the the LIN holdover is what it is.

Do you happen to have any pictures of how you installed the LEDs into the factory cup holders? I bough the lighted cupholder, but don't have ambient lighting and don't really want to have to activate the LIN data line.

I bought led lights, and soldered them to the wires. And just used the holders. I don’t have any pictures. I can do a better write up later this weekend when I have more time.
