Work surface custom non-skid mats (made them myself)

I have the idea to custom make these so I decided to give it a try. Eventually plan to add silicone based adhesive and permanently attached them it does close properly with two layers of the silicone matting.

What do you think?

They look awesome. I would buy them, but I would use an adhesive that was not permanent.

yep, after further consideration a couple of days ago, i decided to not use the silicone adhesive. I am trying to figure out a temporary solution. heck, even having them loose and available is better than none, IMO. I can make and sell em with any simple logo. i'd have to look into the marketplace rules.

How does it look closed?

here it is closed. i left the edges uncleaned with some white so you could see them in the photo. one pic closed and another with both layers

sitting as they were closed.

i was also thinking of shrinking the size to the area of the flat surface only, and skipping the perimeter where the bevel is on the sides.
