Which OEM tire is best for winter?

I just wanted to check in and say that the Blizzak DM-V2 are a night and day difference over the OEM Goodyear Wrangler AT's. We had a little snow up here in the mountains of northern NH, even coming to a stop at the end of my street was very noticeable. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how the truck performs in some serious snow/ice now.

How was the wear on them? I've read reviews that they don't last very long. I am definitely grabbing a set of winter tires, the General Grabber APT's sucked just as bad as the other OEM tires I had.

I had blizzaks on my WRX for three winters (18 months, roughly 20,000 km) and they still looked awesome when I traded in the car and sold the tires.

I had the OE Pirelli scorpion ATRs on my RCSB 4x4 (XLT, FX4) and they were awful in the winter. It’s night and day difference so far with the BFG KO2s I have now.

I've got a set of Firestone Winterforce 2UV and they are dynamite in deep snow. I got a set of used 2018 F-150 rims and the old TPMS sensors synced perfect with my truck.

I've seen some horrible reviews on the LT's (wear related) so ill be going with DM-V2's or a Hakkapeliitta tire. I'm hoping I have a similar experience as you are with the APT's

So if the reviews were of the LT being used on HD pickups, you might see much better wear out on a 1/2 ton pickup. Also, the LTs are not directional, right? So you may be able to rotate them to get better wear.
