Where is this "pass through" from cab to bed for the Starkey bed light kit?

Bought the Starkey bed light kit. Install seems easy enough, but when I watch the install video, there is a very easy, clear pass through tray to run the cable from the 3rd brakelight to inside the cab along the headliner and through the pass through, in between the bed and cab, and then ziptied to the frame back to the lights.

I have a 2025 f150. The lights said "fits 2021 - 2025". Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I don't think the pass through is behind whatever the metal plate mounted to the back of the cab is.

I ran the wire for my rear dash cam behind the rear seat in the bulkhead theres a rubber vent. Then I punched a small hole in the bed rubber plug..

Ya I see it now. They moved it from behind the passenger seat to behind the middle seat.

I installed the same lights on my 2024 Lariat and found it in the center of the back seat after calling the company. You don't have to remove the back seat; just stretch your arm from this location and feel for it.

You can lean the double driver seat down in the back as well. There’s a pin behind the seat you have to feel for. It’s like a latch. Just fyi if you didn’t already know.

And there is a strap you can buy on Amazon that connects to the rear seat release pin to make that seat able to be easily tipped forward to gain access to the space behind the seat (it’s a bit of hidden storage)

It was pretty easy tbh. Probably took 45 minutes. Worst part was zip tying the cables under the bed. Lights function the same as OEM (as far as I’m aware) aside from there not being a switch in the bed.
I had one Ford dealer tell me no when I asked how much to install the lights. He said “too many wires and shit it wouldn’t be worth the cost for you” which I found really surprising. For $160 it works well. Call Starkey directly if you have any installation questions. I did (really didn't need to). Super helpful.

In case you have bought one for yourself can you please share a link for it?

I had one in my gen13 F150 so I know what you are talking about. Only thing is that on amazon there are so many things and sometimes they are not compatible with what they claim to be.
So it's not that I am trying to save my time being lazy to search, rather to be sure to get the right one for a MY25.
Thanks! :)

In case anyone is considering the STarkey OEM style bed lighting kit, mine continues to work perfectly. Also, I recently got an email from them saying they now have an OEM style bed on/off button kit that you can easily retro fit to their OEM lighting kit. It’s a bit pricy at about US$100 but includes a good shielded wiring kit with the switch and waterproof connectors. You splice wire it into the dash mounted rear lighting switch then run the wire back under the door sill trim to the rear, then out the back vent, along the frame (or inside the frame rails) and then it plugs in to the wiring for the OEM lights and the new switch. Elegant and converts their original bed lighting into an exact OEM functionality. I’ll buy one the next time I’m in the US.
