I've put a deposit on a Powerboost 502a with CoPilot 2 Active, Park Assist, ProPower etc that is a stock order scheduled to arrive at the dealership in the next couple weeks. The dealership is 8 hours away but the plan is to do all the paperwork remotely and then meet a driver in the middle to swap my trade for the new truck. My question is, what things should I have verified before we actually schedule the drop swap?

The window sticker still shows 360 camera, CoPilot Active, and active Park Assist, some of the features I know have been getting removed. The blend date was back in January and it has been on a "chip hold" ever since. I will still ask them to actually verify those features are present.

Looking up the recalls for the VIN it shows the trailer brake controller and steering column wiring need to be completed, so I will verify with the dealer that those get completed before scheduling the swap also.

What other things would you suggest before buying a basically sight unseen new Lariat Powerboost 503a? I know per the window sticker that it is supposed to have the features I want as far as that is concerned.

Thanks

There's a sticky thread about this actually:
https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/delivery-inspection-check-list.1261/

That's what I'm gonna look at when my truck gets here
Thanks, I'll try building from that. Unfortunately I probably won't get to inspect it myself before it is actually mine since we will be meeting half way for delivery. My biggest concern is of possible features missing that should be on it per the window sticker. Depending on when it comes in aay just bite the bullet and make it a 2 day trip rather than 1 day and drove all the way there rather than meeting at their other dealership half way.

If the "feature" is on the window sticker where there's a corresponding charge for it (price that you are paying) it is included, and has not been removed.

Are you sure you want to meet half way and have some stranger drive your brand new truck for four hours? Break-in is important, at least to me it is.

I would drive the 8 hours to do a good inspection and then sign all the paperwork.
