I've put a deposit on a Powerboost 502a with CoPilot 2 Active, Park Assist, ProPower etc that is a stock order scheduled to arrive at the dealership in the next couple weeks. The dealership is 8 hours away but the plan is to do all the paperwork remotely and then meet a driver in the middle to swap my trade for the new truck. My question is, what things should I have verified before we actually schedule the drop swap?
The window sticker still shows 360 camera, CoPilot Active, and active Park Assist, some of the features I know have been getting removed. The blend date was back in January and it has been on a "chip hold" ever since. I will still ask them to actually verify those features are present.
Looking up the recalls for the VIN it shows the trailer brake controller and steering column wiring need to be completed, so I will verify with the dealer that those get completed before scheduling the swap also.
What other things would you suggest before buying a basically sight unseen new Lariat Powerboost 503a? I know per the window sticker that it is supposed to have the features I want as far as that is concerned.
Thanks
