Trading in my Ram for a Powerboost.

Planning on leveling it with a coilover kit and adding my 295/70/18 Coopers as they only have 8000 miles on them. The wheels are Method -12, but those won’t fit the bolt pattern of the Ford.

With that being said, it would save me more $ to get a new set of 18” wheels as opposed to getting new tires to fit the Ford. With this size of tire, what is the recommended offset to avoid rubbing? Perhaps a +20?

Thanks.

I run +20 with that tire size on my 2022.

I have Cooper Discover AT3 XLT 295/70R18 - 2022 (+44 Offset) stock wheels. Running a 2" level kit. I have about 1\4" clearance on UCA.

295/70/18 needs a +20 to avoid rubbing.

I'm running 295/70/18 on -12 and although it looks great it required some trimming. Trimmed crash bars (not just hacked up, nicely trimmed the corners), spaced bumper forward because I refuse to cut into it and trimmed inside edge of mud flaps.

I'm am only on a 1.5" level so it may not be as bud with a 2" or 2.5"

I plan on adding the Eibach pro truck stage 2R coil overs. This should lift the front 2.2. - 2.5 inches. No mudflaps on the truck.

If I’m reading this correctly, and I understand all trucks are different, if I go with a +20 or higher on the wheel, I should be OK….

If all else fails, I can sell that set and keep the stock 20 wheels and add different tires, but that would ultimately cost more.

You should be golden at +20 or higher. I've read people having problems at +44 with some rub on the upper control arm. Just something to be cognizant about.
