It lists various oils that are top recommended but it has a weird "Con" for Castrol Edge 5W-20 because it says the oil filter will start making noise and will have to be changed frequently. I'm no mechanic but I have never heard of an oil filter making noise issue ever.

Oil filters have an internal pressure bypass to continue oil flow of the filter should get clogged. The only place noise could come from is off this were opening/closing repeatedly. If this were happening though, you likely have the wrong filter for the engine, or you have a big problem with your engine.
