Got my builtright mole panel installed in the box.

Loved the idea from Mr @Highway 11 's truck but as a Vancouverite, I get the privilege of not having to mount a permanent snowbrush on it and still keep my Canadian passport

Now I have to send the risers back cause I got the wrong ones and I cant mount my fire extinguisher lol.

Since me and my friends end up in the woods biking, I mounted a hatchet and 2 bike pumps on it. Soon I'll get a small toolbox and the extinguisher

A little update:
I got the right risers and mounted everything.

I got a flashlight, hatchet, fire extinguisher and 2 bike pumps on it.

Any ideas for more are welcome! ?

Kind of a long sway bar story…
Seen an open box Hellwig sway bar reduced price with an extra 20% off code in American Trucks. Gave them a call to see what was missing. I was told just a few bolts and should be good with a trip to the hardware store…so I made the purchase.

Let’s just say it was missing far more than a few bolts when I received the order. I sent a note to Hellwig with a pic of the parts I had and explaining the purchase and asking to purchase the replacement parts.

WOW Customer service from Hellwig. Not only did they get me the correct parts but at no charge! AND THATS WHAT I DID TO MY TRUCK TODAY after a couple of weeks delay…Installed my Hellwig rear sway bar!

Everything I have read and feedback I have seen on forums tells me it’s a great upgrade especially if you tow anything. Having said that I’ve only had the opportunity to take a short drive into to town and back. We have some great switchbacks through our little town that you are “supposed to” drive at 30. On the way back I took them around 45. Truck felt great.

Put a graphene coating on my Lomax carbon fiber tonneau cover...

Here it is half-done:

This wasn't the smartest place to pause for a comparison photo, but a little elbow grease ensured that I didn't have a weird line, at the end of the day, in the center panel.

I took the tonneau off the truck to do the work, because that is one of this tonneau's cool features - it doesn't weigh squat, and is easy to take all the way off. I carried it into our pool room so I could do the job on the pool deck. I just don't have a better place to do something like this - the light's good and there isn't a lot of crap in the air thanks to the screens on the windows.

When I put it back on the truck today, I noticed something sorta cool. This is from the underside of the tonneau (and was not present before):

It looks like the graphene coating solution found a couple of spots in the carbon fiber that it could seep through. I assume these were minor defects in the top surface. It looks as if the graphene has sealed pores that I did not even know existed. Since this is on the underside, I'm not going to try to correct this.

I decided to try this because the manufacturer says you really need to take care of these carbon fiber surfaces but doesn't publish specifics. The truck is garaged, but the sun here in the high desert is no joke, so I wanted to do something that might reflect some sun and last awhile. Posting here because I could find no info about putting graphene on this product. Time will tell, but I am (perhaps naively) happy with the results so far.

I installed the new wheel to get heated steering option but instead of getting the whole SCCM accidentally only got the correct clock spring. After swapping the clockspring and wheel out, I now get an airbag DTC that won’t clear and keeps coming back even with Forscan.

Small update. Did some ergonomics testing and found my last setup with the fire extinguisher wasn't the greatest. Flipped the mount around so the tail end pivots out from the wall, the access knob is on the proper side, and the extinguisher is closer to the back.

Check that the orange locking caps on the connectors are pushed completely down. One of mine was barely up and I had the same issue.
