Did you ask the dealers in your area about X-plan? I have access to it but I was able to work a better price without it.

I would make contact locally, let em' know you're buying a truck and you're talking to all the dealers near you, work up a B&P spec. and send it off via email. The ones that come back at list or above you strike off the list, find one that is willing to negotiate.

Most dealers will honor the X-plan only if you order a new truck not what is in inventory. I have been waiting 8 months for my truck not sure it was ever worth the 10K in savings but we will see.

Two Rivers Ford in Nashville would do invoice pricing (with a $495 doc fee?) about 6-8 months back. Not sure if they still will.

Koons was 5% under invoice with an $899 doc fee, if you use one of their loan companies (Ford is one of their loan companies). They also now have shipping at $1.5 a mile.

First post for me here (after switching from an F150 to a Sierra, and realizing my mistake). Going back to F150 now, and I found a couple of dealers near me that take X-plan on orders, but I'm getting different information from dealers on what else can be locked in right now.

First dealer takes X-Plan, says my PCO can be locked in with other rebates, but not the 0% financing offer I'm seeing right now. They say they can only lock in 1.9% financing with $1000 in bonus cash, or $2000 in bonus cash without a rate lock in at all.

I'm waiting to talk to the second dealer who takes X-plan.

Third dealer won't take X-Plan, but says they can match or beat it with their own discount. But they won't confirm whether I can lock in anything, including my PCO or any rebates/incentives/rates, until closer to delivery (when my current PCO will certainly have expired). Says they can try to lock in the PCO, but Ford might not accept it when delivery happens.

Not sure who to believe. Any ideas?

Thanks! They are and the experience was great with them over the phone. I found a truck that I am interested in but it's 501a instead of 502a. That is my only hangup.
