Lately my running boards have not been deploying normally. Sometimes just one side comes out, sometime both, sometimes neither. Then the other day when I was getting gas. I finished up and closed the door, but the truck still thought the fuel door was open. I hop out (running board half deployed) and give it good push...nothing changed. Hit the open fuel door, it opened, I hop out again no running boards, closed the fuel door and was back to normal.
My initial thought is a battery problem but I was at 92 SOC. Would this be a sign of bad auxiliary battery? I cant update the BCM because of the password thing and my dealer sucks so im not going there.
